" WHAT the hell was that for!? " He yelled in annoyance, throwing his hands up. " You're s-smoking from the cancer stick " She said before scrambling away from him with her nose covered. " Put it out! " Whined trying to avoid the smoke. " No " " Yes. Y-you could get all old and w-wrinkly " " Well it helps alot in relieving stress " He argued back before taking another drag. " Wh-why are you st-stressed then?" The naive girl asked with her nose still covered, while she also rubbed on the stinging mark on her arm. " Well I obviously want to be stuck in a freaking tunnel with a weird and naive teenager without knowing when I'll see the light again! " He barked out in frustration without thinking through his words. " Oh " Universe muttered as she leaned on the rocky wall and stared at her dusty shoes. Finally realizing that he had called her weird and naive, he sighed then pinched the bridge of his nose. " I'm sorry " He muttered but still got no response from the innocent girl. With another sigh, he put out his cigarette with his shoe then got up and went to sit by her. " I'm sorry. I didn't mean that, I just-" " It's okay. You're n-not lying and m-maybe that's why my parents ga-gave me to my auntie " The naive girl whispered causing the bad boy's heart to break in pieces. " Universe, that's not true. Look, you're perfect, friendly, different and...cute. And you're parents gave you out despite that but that's their loss not yours. Based on the hours I've known you, you are nice, fun and you love to share your popcorn, you love tarantulas..I mean, no offence but eww, who loves tarantulas. But the point is, you're different and special " Corey Knight ranted, the only thing on his mind was to erase the thoughts the innocent girl had about herself. Slowly, a blush rose on the girl's puffy cheeks and she tried to use her hands to cover them up in embarrassment. " No one has ever told me that b-before" She muttered wringing her fingers together. " Well then no one has been lucky enough to know you properly " He told before sighing and leaning his back on the rocky wall. " Thank you " " No need. Here, you have five minutes " He said handing her his iPhone without eye contact. " Yay! T-thank you!" She squealed before snatching the phone from his hands and swiping up his dark themed lock screen, since he never bothered to put in a password.
