" UH-OH " The teenager muttered again. She had started feeling her attack coming. She nibbled on her bottom lip as she immediately searched her bag for her phone and anxiety pills. Unluckily for her, she only found her pouch clad phone whilst her pills had somehow been left back by her aunt. The teenager's bag was filled with snacks and drinks instead. Letting out a shaky breath, she turned on her torch and led her way further into the tunnel, hoping to find the end sooner than expected. The sound of her phone going off had her startled as it warned her that she only had 15 bars left before her battery died. Unfortunately, she was so exited the day before about the trip that she forgot to charge her phone. With a pout, she clutched her phone tightly like it would magically charge up, and continued walking. Only the sounds of her little feet padding on the rocks and the sound of insects and little rodents scurrying off could be heard. Until... "s**t!" A person yelled out, his/her voice laced with frustration. Startled by the unexpected company, the girl tripped. She moved backwards resting her back on the rocky walls as her attack started taking its toll. The teenager's body was suddenly on high alert as her heartbeat quickened. Her breaths came out shallow and fast due to her fragile body demanding more oxygen. She drew her knees to her chest for comfort as her legs shook while tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. Shutting her eyes tightely, she said a mental prayer. " What the...." The unknown person trailed, clearly surprised at the presence of another being. The girl's head suddenly snapped up, she feared her neck would c***k. Her attack, calming a little. " W-who are you?" They both asked at the same time, except for the fact that she was the only one who stuttered. Slowly, the guy approached her. She could make out his face clearly now since he stepped into the light provided by the torch coming from her fallen phone. The guy had a lighter skin than hers, his hair was curly and and brown and his eyes were grey and.....cold. " You look familiar " She whispered, gripping her knees tighter. " What are you doin' here?" The guy asked after he had studied the fragile girl. Her innocence was like a seeping aroma that intimidated and forced others to oblige to her lifestyle. " I-I got lost " She whispered again, but enough for him to hear. " Well s**t " He muttered and she gasped at his choice of words. After her anxiety had fortunately calmed down, she got up with wobbly legs and picked up her phone. " What happened to you?" He asked again, shoving his hands into his pockets. The girl embarrassingly stared at her shoes before muttering a 'panic attack' " Oh " After that, there was a long moment to silence. Universe finding the white patterns on her pink canvases and the unknown guy - observing the delicate girl before him. She didn't even act like those suffocating girls who tried to impress him and for once in his life, he tried not to show his cold side to somebody. Her. " What's your name?" The girl voiced out melodicaly as a shade of pink tinted her soft cheeks. " Corey. Corey Knight " And it was at this moment that the naive girl knew, that this familiar person before her was 'The Corey Knight'. Her school 'bad boy'. The devil himself.
