THE naive girl fiddled with her fingers as she waited for the principal to make a single comment.
She watched as he scribbled down notes on a piece of paper with his glasses placed firmly on the tip of his nose.
" Universe Graham?"
He finally spoke out..
The teenage girl was delighted that she would soon be able to leave the office and go home to bake some pie with her auntie.
" Y-yes Mr Falcon?"
Her voice was melodic, and soft.
Like it had never been tainted.
" Are you sure..you were cleared to go on the school trip with other students tomorrow? "
The man asked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
Everyone knew about the naive, innocent girl who has her episodes of panic attacks.
Even the teachers knew how fragile Universe Graham was, everyone knew how to act around her.
Even if they never spoke to her, unless needed.
The teenager nibbled on her lower lip, an attitude she had gotten used to especially when she was nervous.
" Y-yes sir "
She whispered with a pout.
Why did he feel like she was lying?
Was she not good enough to go on the trip?
" Alright..then. Just fill this form "
The man said as he handed her a form and a pen.
The teenager's heart leaped with joy as she quickly accepted the items and placed them on the table.
Her tongue stuck out of the side of her mouth in concentration as she carefully filled the form.
After two minutes, the teenager was finally done with her filling.
" I'm done! "
The teenager yelled happily.
Finally, she could go for something along with the other brave teenagers.
And finally, she could go home to her widowed aunt.
The principal stared at the naive girl's signature which had flowers drawn at the side before watching as she waved and exited his office.

Soft fingers brushed against the face of the young adult as her eyes fluttered open to see her auntie.
With a quiet yawn, she got up and put aside her 'Lilo' stuffed animal from the cartoon 'Lilo and Stitch'.
" Good morning "
She muttered as she hugged her auntie.
Ever since her uncle passed, she had promised to always be there for her auntie.
After all, she had been the only parent she had ever known and had.
" Morning sweetheart! Are you excited for your big day?"
Her aunt asked, causing a nod from the teenager.
" Good. I packed lots of snacks into your bag. Just go freshen up and come down for breakfast "
Lillian ordered soothingly causing the teenager to jump out of bed and sprint into her pink themed bathroom.
She couldn't miss an opportunity to explore now could she?
