CHAPTER TWENTY In the dim light of the early morning, they finished the stew left from the previous evening. Still hungry, Carthinal carefully lifted Mabryl onto the travois. He had managed to make a harness so it would be easier for him to pull the contraption. Shouldering the harness, he shrugged to be sure that it wasnot going to be cutting into him.
