Alpha Kane

I, Kane, was being dressed up in the most depressing clothes I have ever seen. They were all black with skulls. I was not happy at all. "Why am I dressing like this?" The lab assistant looked at me as she sighed. "The Master said she likes emo boys.. You know, like just a phase people?" I growled a bit. "That's so stupid!!" She shivered as I yelled out. I really had a way of scaring people. The eventually finished and I was dropped off in a small country town. It didn't seem like many people lived here and I didn't want to meet any of them. I had one mission and it was to capture this mutant. All because the Master's daughter had a run in while talking to her little boyfriend.. I continued walking the street as I spotted the girl I was after. I sniffed the air a bit. What the Master didn't know was... I am a werewolf. Not a mutant. Haha. It was definitely her, her scent was very familiar to my wolf and I. I casually started walking towards her. She was with a redhead and some punk-looking guy. They were in deep conversation as I approached. "Excuse me. I seem to be a little lost. I'm not from around here you see." The girl looked at me cautiously as the man spoke up. "Where are you looking to go?" He stood in front of both the girls protectively, a smart choice. My size was very intimidating. "I was looking for a man by the name of Sin... I heard he may be able to help me with a problem I'm having." I knew nothing of what they do other than a missing persons group. "I lost my sister.. and I need to find her.." The boy looked at me suspiciously as the girls talked amongst themselves. The smell coming from Zora was overpowering me a little as she shifted a bit. What was that smell? I knew it from somewhere. "I could help you. Hold on.." He turned to the girls. "Go ahead.. I'll take him to my office." The girls nodded to him as they walked off upstairs. Zora was staring at me as Sam shut the door. Sin walked me around to the back of the building, her scent was so powerful even in there. He sat down. "So let's talk business."

The man Sin was speaking too seemed familiar to me but I couldn't tell where... He definitely had something off about him. "That guy was really cute, wasn't he Zora?" I shook my head a bit. "Something seemed off about him..." Paine appeared beside me and growled a bit. "He is a werewolf..." I growled a bit. "Paine can you go spy on them for me?" He nodded some and disappeared. "Don't worry Zora, Sin can handle him if he is aggressive.." "That's not why I'm worried... I know him from somewhere and he just seems.... Off.. I don't know how to explain it.." I stalked off to my room, I was worried about Sin but mostly because of the man he was speaking too.... Not because he cant handle himself. I waited for Paine to return and ended up drifting off to sleep in my room.

I, Zora, growled as I ran for the clearing. I saw Sin standing then the next thing I saw was that man. He looked up at me and smirked as Sin dropped to his knees. "Not much of a mate now is he?" He laughed maniacally as he held onto Sin's still beating heart. I tried to attack the man but he caught my arms. "You little one... Are who I want..." I jumped up out of the deep sleep I was in and rubbed my eyes trying to remove the nightmare I had just had from my them. Paine was whining a bit from seeing the nightmare himself through mind-link. "Zora... Are you okay?" I hugged my knees as I shook my head. "W-what did you find out?" "He is a werewolf... But he seems fairly harmless. He is looking for his little sister." "Or so he says..." I hopped off the bed and through on a long cloak. "You won't need that... He is here. Sin invited him to stay until he finds his sister.." I growled a bit. "Don't go talking to him yet.. We need more information from him first..." I growled a bit. He was right though. "Try to get some more sleep." I sighed a bit and laid back down. I eventually fell back asleep, this time with no dreams.

The next Morning....

I woke up stretching a bit, I heard laughing coming from the kitchen. I growled a bit as I started to get ready for the morning. When I walked out into the living room, I was greeted by a very cheery voice. "Good morning, um Zora right?" I growled a bit as he stuck his hand out. "My name is Kane..." I cautiously shook his hand. "Right... Um.. Nice to meet you I guess..." I didn't trust this man as far as I could throw him. Which due to his size, wouldn't be very far. Sin laughed a bit as he walked over and placed his hand on my shoulder. I calmed a bit. "Zora he is here until we find his sister. He is a friend." I shrugged his hand off and went and grabbed a muffin. Sam looked at Sin as I sulked off back to my room. I didn't want to be in his presence...

I, Sin, sighed a bit as Zora went to her room. I don't know what is wrong but I was worried. I haven't seen Paine yet either.. "I'm going to go talk to her guys. I'll be right back..." Sam followed me until and pulled me into her office. It was soundproof and she only does this when she needs to speak to me without people hearing. "Sin, she doesn't trust Kane.. She said something was off about him last night.." I nodded. "I felt like that was what was wrong... I need to talk to her though.." I went to open the door but Sam stopped me. "I'll bring her in here... I don't want him to hear her and get angry.. we can't reveal her to him. He may report her." I nodded as she left the room. I felt a bit of a chill as Paine appeared. "He's a werewolf, did you know that?" I gasped a bit. "What? H-... Nevermind dumb question.." Zora growled a bit as she came in and shut the door behind her. I couldn't help but be a little nervous. "Zora... Are you okay?" She growled again and nodded a bit. "I don't believe that.. Paine just told me Kane was a werewolf..." "I don't trust him... Something smells off... I don't know how to mention it..." I thought for a minute. "You could pretend to be just a werewolf... Not a mutant." She nodded a bit. "Yeah I guess... But I don't want to be alone with him..." "I wouldn't except you too... I mean humans know about werewolves. So it wouldn't be weird if we knew you were one..." Paine nodded. "That's not a bad idea... Zora Sin is right.. You could figure out what he is up too..." She sighed a bit and began to fidget with her hair. "I can try... But I don't know if he would believe it..." I nodded. "I think he will... You could also just pretend to be our cat. haha." She smiled a bit as she calmed down. "You always have a back up plan don't you?" I laughed a bit and nodded. "You have to sometimes." "Thank you Sin..." She swayed a bit on her feet before she started to leave but before she could, I grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a hug. She gasped a bit at first and Paine purred a little. I let her go and before I could say anything she was gone. "Nice Sin.." Paine laughed before he disappeared again. I walked out into the kitchen as Zora sat at the table and looked at me then Kane... "So.. Kane... I need to know something.." He looked at her a bit confused. "Yes?" "Are you a werwolf? There's something about your smell..." He looked shocked at first then nodded. "I am.. H-how did you know?" "I am also a werewolf... I felt your wolf when I saw you and your scent." She looked down as he nodded a bit. "I could smell it on you too... But couldn't sense you're wolf..." "Ah yeah... I block it out. There's some wolf hunters around here.." Kane nodded. "That makes sense...

So the Master was wrong... She was no mutant.. Just a wolf.. Unless she is trying to trick me. Her voice though.. Was like music to my ears.. She is not mated or marked.. Maybe I, Kane, can have a chance... "Zora, wanna go out again today? I can take you to the mall across town." Sam mentioned a bit. Today was the first day of Sin and I finding my "little sister". While she was really missing, I was not looking for her, that was my excuse to stay here. She went rouge a few years back after my father refused to accept her mate... He was an omega and she was the only daughter of the Alpha.. I wonder if Zora was an Alpha. She has an Alpha aura around her.. Maybe I will ask her. I smirked to myself as Sin continued talking to the girls before they took off out the door. Sin sighed a little, the girls clearly ignored him before he cleared his throat. "Let's get started..." He lead me to a small office surrounded with monitors and other devices. He started typing into a computer. "So a werewolf huh?" I nodded. "Born an Alpha of my pack... I left not to long ago though... I haven't seen my little sister in years.. The pack moved so I couldn't find them..." He looked at me concerned. "Why would an Alpha leave?" I growled a bit as he tried to pry. "My father didn't approve of me not having a mate of my own..." That was the truth, I joined A.L.P.H.A for the irony of it. Faked plenty of blood tests by screwing the lab rats. Sin nodded a bit and blushed as a thought came to mind. "Why are you flushed?" I questioned wanting to pry back. "Well... Zora hasn't been in tune with her werewolf side much but her wolf... told me we were mates.. I can feel the mate bond but I don't think she can yet..." I perked up a bit, we were off track but oh well. The less we got done, the more I could get to know Zora. "Why is that?" he sighed a bit. "She was living alone for 5 years in her wolf form, kinda feral.. She is just now learning about who she is. When her wolf came to me, it mentioned wolfsbane. But that was it...." I watched as he stared off in the distants. I didn't see anything but felt a chill in the air. These people were a bit weird but I knew that Zora was a werewolf, I could smell the wolf on her. So why would they be lying? There's no way... When she gets back, maybe I 'll ask her to go on a run with me. To get to know her better. I was smirking when Sin's voice reached my ears. "So what is your sister's name?" I cleared my throat a bit and started to concentrate on the task at hand. Maybe I really need to see my sister... "Her name is Leah. Leah Andrews..." Sin started pulling up different profiles attempting to locate my sister as I began to daydream about running as my wolf with Zora. If Sin was her mate, I would fight him for her.....
