Well, what can I say? I couldn't help myself and snatched up a flashy, high-end notebook at the nearest bookstore. Yeah, I'm going to keep writing in it about my favorite subject — myself. Because this toxic habit of recording my life is the only thing that keeps me from actually overthinking it.
The mirror-chrome finish cost me a few days' worth of pocket money, but it was totally worth it. Honestly, for a long time, I didn't want to start a new "crying towel" for Grandma to find (or for me to get weak and shove it in someone's face to show off). But as usual, my attempts to keep my thoughts in a place where people can't reach them are proving pointless... Oh well! At least now I'll have something to do in the evenings. Like I said, I'll just fill it with all kinds of crap.
I never thought I'd end up a graphomaniac, writing memoirs about my precious self like some life-hating neurotic trying to "find" her soul. Hold on a sec...?
If you're wondering what's spinning in my head regarding the last two years of my "messed-up" life — don't even ask. Especially about what happened a month ago. That "fatal katana wound" turned out to be not-so-fatal, so now I just catch myself glancing at the creepy scar on my right shoulder every now and then. And sometimes the mental scar, right under my left ribs, likes to remind me it's there, too. But I'm trying to enjoy life, because it's summer break, and the bliss of "zero-f***s-given" combined with the sweet degradation of late-night gaming is just peak.
