CHAPTER - 4

Smyth and Lara ran out of the house and in a few minutes the house completely turned into ashes.

" What is this Smyth ? What's going on here? "

" Let me to explain Lara.... "

" Explain what??? He was just to kill me and infact I don't know why? He had killed my parents. Again my family is destroyed..... ". And saying this she started crying.

" Please Lara you don't know anything about your family background. " He said very calmly.

" Which background ??? My family was a happy and normal family until you vampires had not entered in our life. "

" You are unaware of everything Lara. Your parents had kept you away from every thing because they care for you. They don't want you to enter into this darkness and be a part of it " said smyth's father.

" Which truth are you talking about? "asked Lara.

" Your mother Neelum was our queen ; the queen of vampires, the owner of the moonstone "said smyth's father.

Smyth entered into the left over ashes of the house and brought Lara's necklace and handover it to her.

" This is moonstone "said Smyth.

" This is moonstone..... but I don't care about it. I have lost everything and it is only because of this stone. "

" It's not any ordinary stone infact your mother died while saving it from hevils. "said smyth's father.

" Who are these hevils? "

" Devils of the Hell, the servants of Christinia. They tried everything to take this stone but your mother has saved it from them and now they are captured into the hell and only this stone can brought them back. "

" And is this stone the only powerful stone..... "asked Lara.

" No there are six such powerful stones which are given to some responsible people except two such stones one of which is with Christinia and no one knows about the other. "said Smyth's father.

" And who's this Christinia and why..... ".

" We can't talk right now. We have to leave. "

" But where? College is.... "

" Forget about this college Lara your life is in danger and right now we have to protect you. You are coming with me and now no arguments. "said Smyth.

" OMG....Are you ordering me? "

" Dad you go to Vamps.ville and check out if there's anything wrong. I'll come there with Lara and we'll reach there soon. "said Smyth.

" OK. But take care of her. "saying this he exits with a lightning speed.

" So..... Shall we move or... ? "

" But where? "

" To Vamps.ville, your real home. "

" But first we have to go to my home. My father must be.... "

" Ok.. We'll. So let's go. "

As they reached to Lara's home ; many police were there who took the dead body of Lara's father and searching for her.

" Lara is everything fine.... ".

" No. Nothing is fine here. I'll not leave anyone who had killed my family. I'll take the revenge. They had started this game and I will end it with their end. The story is started. Come let's go to Vamps.ville. I had many much more things to do. "

And they left for Vamps.ville.

They were on their way towards Vampsville , surrounded with deep forest all around.

“ What is this Vampsville ? I have never heard about it .”said Lara.

“ Vampsville is a secret place which is hidden from greedy eyes of humans . ”

“ Hidden from humans but .... Why ? ”

“ Just like humans we don't live openly we are very different from them and having very different powers and responsibility of these magical stones we can't live openly. We have many enemies and we can't let them to attack on humans . ”

“ I had never thought that you all too think about humans as we all know that you are hungry for human blood.”

“ Who said that ? We vampires are vegetarians . We drink only animals blood. ”

“ Yes , you're true vegetarians. ” and saying this she smiles.

“ Will I be safe there ?”

“ Ofcourse , don't worry. It's your real birth place we're there to protect you. ”

“ I trust on you but....”

“ But what Lara ?”

“ I'm going to live between vampires . Is it safe for me , a human. ”

“ Don't worry . It's your place . They will be happy on seeing their queen between them.”

“ I don't know what's going to happen now ? ”

“ But you have to keep in mind that you cannot show or give your necklace to anyone. Remember we can't trust on anyone.”

“ Is this stone too much powerful ?”

“ We can't say until we find the sixth power stone. ”

“ Wait wait wait....”.

“ What happened now ?”

“ Look at that tree ..... I'm feeling hungry ... I want that fruit please bring it for me ”.

“ Okay . Now wait and watch. ”

And he climbed over the tree , plucked some fruits and jumped down.

“ Here's your fruit...Have it.”

“ Give me. ” and saying this she starts eating it .

“ So, shall we move.”

“ Just wait .”she said with his fluffed mouth .“ Let me to finish it first.”

“ You couldn eat it in the whole journey . Now move. ”he said very rudely.

“ I had never thought that you could be so rude Mr. 8 abs.”

“ How do you know ?”he said very surprisingly.

“ I have seen your abs. You must have practiced alot to maintain them.”

“ But at time you said that you haven't seen anything....”he said very surprisingly.

“ I think that a few minutes ago you have advised me not to trust on anyone.”she said with a big smile.

“ I like your attitude but let's see how far could you maintain it.”

“ I'm a sweet little girl please don't tease me. ”she said jokingly.

“So stand up little girl our destiny is very far. ”

“ Okay... But I'm tired. ”

“ We have no time to rest.  It could be dangerous for us.”

“ Listen.... I trust you . I trust on you more than anyone. I know you wouldn't let anything go wrong with me. ”she said very calmly with a cute and lovely smile on her face.

“ Okay. But we have to leave. Now stand up. We don't have enough time to have rest. ”

“ I had never thought that you would misbehave with your queen. ”

“ You are not our queen untill you reach to the Vampsville. And before reaching there we have to cross werecity. ”

“ And....what's this werecity ?”she questioned.

"You will understand it soon as we reach there".

"What's you doing then?"she said as she stands."Wasting my time here. Let's go."

"Okay"he says with a smile.

After travelling for a few minutes,

"I don't understand the fight between vampires and werewolves only for this stone" she asked him pointing towards her necklace.

"What's you doing Lara? Hide it. It's not a thing to be shown anywhere." he ordered her.

"But..."

"It's not an ordinary stone Lara which we have already told you. It's the key for hell."

"Is it true that no one except my mother can control its power?"

"No, it's not completely true. After your mother, Christinia can control its power and might you too."

"Me. No, it's not true. This stone is a bad luck for me. I have lost everything only because of this stone."

"Do you want to quit then?" he asked.

"No"she replied very calmly. "It's the last belonging of my mother that I have and I can't leave it. I'll not quit untill I take the revenge of my mother."

"I know Lara. You have suffered a lot. But it is your the truth. I am very glad that you are coming with me."

"My life has already gifted me with many strange surprises and...."

"I understand Lara. But Victor was not your only enemy"he warned her.

"What are you saying? Are there many more?"she asked surprisingly.

"Yes, there are many more. As you know that your mother was our queen. And so her enemies are now yours that's why I had warned you not to trust on anyone. Many people whom your mother had trusted betrayed her"he told her.

"What are you saying? Do you mean to say that they were among her enemies?"she questioned him with amazement.

"Yes they supported our enemies. They were among those who tried to steal those five almighty stones"he answered her.

"That means I have to be very alert"she said.

"Lara, promise me one thing"he requested her.

"What's that Smyth?"she asked him.

"Promise me that you will never took any wrong decision in emotions".

"Okay, don't worry Smyth I'll not take any wrong decision"she replied very politely.

"Now you have to stick on to your words Lara however bad will be the situation" he

said .

"Okay, but it will depend on the situation Smyth. And I'll always think for my people before myself"she replied.

"Thankyou Lara for your so kind words for us. You are same as your mother."

"Have you seen my mother?"she questioned to him.

"Yes, I have seen her. Infact I was with her during the fight and even I had promised her that I'll take care of you" he replied.

"That means I was born before that fight".

"Yes, but we have sent you too far from the reach of our enemies and those dreadful cries" he said.

"Well, what's your age?"

"109 years."

"Are you kidding? You mean to say that I travelling with an old grumpy man" she said and smiled.

"Yes, it looks so."

And suddenly Lara noticed many colourful stones.

"Wow!"she exclaimed with amazement and excitement.

"Welcome to Stonery Lara."

Adorned with beautiful and colorful crystals, spread across all over the area.

Crystals varying in size and colour were shining in the cloudy atmosphere.

"It's beautiful. I... I can't believe on my eyes." said Lara.

"Yes, it is beautiful. It's famous for this beautiful scenery."said Smyth.

" Do we really have to leave this place? I mean let's relax here. "she said.

" If you stay here for a long time then this place will hypnotize you. And that's why this place is abandoned . " he replied.

" Are you kidding?"she said with a smile." Hello... Hello...."she shouted.

" It's not a joke Lara. No one lives here."he said.

" Okay. "she replied.

And suddenly her big blue eyes stuck into a small blue crystal. And she rushed towards it.

" Wow.... Look Smyth it looks similar to the moon stone. Can I take it? "she said very excitedly.

" Okay, you can. And can we move now? "he asked.

" Fine. Let's go."

And then they starts moving.

" Well, how could this place hypnotize me? "she questioned.

" This place belongs to the witches who needs their own privacy and doesn't allow anyone to live here. "he replied.

" And what if I got hypnotized? "

" Either they leave you or will make you their servant.  "

And suddenly they heard a loud sound of cries.

" What is this? "Lara asked.

" I don't know. Let's find out."

They moved towards that place but as they reached there, they found nothing.

No sound of cries, no one, nothing.

" We should move fast. It could be a trap for us ". Smyth said.

" I think you are right. Let's go."

And they starts moving with a rapid steps. And suddenly the sound of cries again was heard.

"No need to look back Lara, just move." he ordered.

Suddenly Lara falls down, Smyth holds her and they noticed him in front of them.

"How are you?" said that man.

Slowly they looked above fearly at the face of that person.

"Dad, what are you doing here?" asked Smyth.

"You really have scared us." said Lara.

"Yes I too think so. Well I have to tell you a very important news." he said.

"What's that Dad?" asked Smyth.

"You both have to go to the Adorneal before coming to the Vampsville."

"But why? I mean we are just to reach Vampsville soon." Lara said.

"Blue moon is soon Smyth and I know that you will understand its importance."

"What Blue moon? You are right dad it's really important. We will leave for Adorneal right now." said Smyth.

"But I'm tired. And what's this blue moon?" asked Lara.

"He'll explain it to you on the way. But before that you have to give me half the piece of your stone Smyth." he said.

"But why dad?" Smyth asked.

"Just do as you were told to do. It's necessary for my work." he replied.

"Which work dad?" he asked again.

"Just give me half a piece of blood stone." he replied angrily.

"Okay, take it." Smyth replied.

And he breaks the stone into two halves and gave one to his father.

"Good, now you can leave." he said.

Both Smyth and Lara were just to turn back to leave for Adorneal.

"And remember my child, never trust on anyone." said Smyth's father.

"Okay dad" he replied as he turned back but found no one.

"Okay, we have to go to Adorneal now. Fine." said Lara as she take a long breath to make herself relaxed.

"Don't you ask any questions regarding this?" Smyth said with a smile.

"Are you making fun of me? But yes right now many questions are coming in my mind but I will ask them later. Right now I just want to relax." she replied.

After a few hours,

"So where do we have to go now." asked Lara as they left Stonery.

"Well, I don't know." replied Smyth.

"Are you kidding? Please tell me fast."

"But I really don't know. I have forgotten to ask it from dad."

"So, now what ? Do we have to go to the Vampsville?"

"Yes, I think you are right. We have to go back to the Vampsville."

" Want to go to the Adorneal." a voice came.

"Now what's that? I'm tired from this game now. Who's that? Come out. We are not afraid of you." shouted Lara.

And suddenly a person with a long black coat and a mask on the face jumped down from the tree.

"Who are you?" questioned Smyth. 

"One of your well-wisher."

"You are a girl " Smyth enquired.

" Do you have any problem with that ? " she replied.

" What do you want from us ? "asked Lara.

" Company to Adorneal ."

" Why do you want to go there ?" Smyth asked with a doubt.

" Well, it's my personal matter. So you are coming or not."

"Why do you think we would trust on you ? "

"Well, I'm sorry to say but I don't think you have any other option."

Smyth thinks for a minute and...

" I'm sorry but we will not come with you."

"Are you sure ?" she enquired.

" Yes, I'm sure."

" Okay, then better luck next time. Good bye " she replied and moves on her way.

"What have you done Smyth ?" said Lara.

" I have already told you Lara that we can't trust on anyone."

"Now how we will reach to Adorneal ?"

"Don't worry. We just have to move. I am sure that we will reach there."

And thy starts moving once again.

After an hour,

"Why are we going there ?"asked Lara.

" So that others can live."

"What do you mean ?"

" Moonstone is not just a source of power but also a source of life for many creatures. It must be placed in front of blue moon's rays so that it could spread it's life giving energy every where in this world through the moon. For which we have to go to Erynvampsi temple in Adorneal."

" Now, what is this Erynvampsi temple ?"

" It was once used to be the home of our lord, Eryn. He was one of the ancient vampire and the husband of Christinia ."

" What ? He was the husband of Christinia ."

"Well, yes he was. Christinia married to him in return of the life of other ancient creatures whose souls she had captured for her black magic. "

" She also knows black magic " Lara asked with amazement.

" Her father was one of the greatest wizard and owner of the spell stone but she also captured his soul to increase her power but was unable to take that stone because one of the apprentice of his father take that stone and hide it . He was also one of the greatest wizard but now nobody knows that where he is now " told Smyth.

" Is there any way so that we could defeat her ? And what happened to Eryn ? "she asked.

" After the marriage, she had two children, a boy and a girl. After this, she again started her capturing game and her first target was Eryn but with the help of your mother we fights with her Eryn died in this war but somehow your mother was able to capture her in the hell. And with her dark powers she became the queen of hell and is still waiting for the time when someone gets her out of there. "

" And , what happened to her children ?" Lara asked.

" She takes them with her in the hell but they can come out of the hell whenever they want because they have powers of the ancient vampire too. "

And suddenly they heard a voice, they went towards it. And saw...

" What are they doing here ?" asked Lara.

" I don't know but it is not a good sign. If these humans get to know about us then it would not be good. "

" But, what are these Britishers doing here ? "

And they both heard their conversation regarding any person whom they were searching.

" I think we should leave. It would not be good if they caught us " said Smyth.

" You are right Smyth . Let's go. "

And they again starts moving,

After few minutes,

" Now, where we have to go?" asked Lara.

" I don't know. I really don't have any idea regarding the way. "

And suddenly, that girl again comes out and...

" Are you sure you don't want my help?" she asked.

" What are you doing here? Are you following us ?" asked Smyth.

" Yes, we will go with you " said Lara.

" What are you saying Lara ?" said Smyth.

" Do you have any other option Smyth? Please believe on me , atleast once."

"Okay, but be careful."

And the three started their journey to Adorneal together.
