The White Lotus is a luxurious restaurant, and as the servers, we are expected to be impeccable in our every gesture. Not a hair can be out of place, not a frown on our faces. I've been working here for close to a week now, and I have managed to get a grasp on how things work here. The customers tip well, and we're allowed to keep our tips, which is new for me.
The only problem is that while most of the staff have accepted me, not everyone is on the same page. A few of the serving staff consider me an outsider and have no qualms about showing it either. I steer clear of them, but they don't like that either. Some people just can't be happy.
