"I wasn't supposed to go that way," Leo admitted, fidgeting with his hands before running them through his hair. It was as if he felt that I needed a personal apology from him.
“You tried, and that is more than I can ask for,” I replied, genuinely surprised by his effort to bring a better future for Tierra Firma. Of course, it failed miserably, but he tried. A part of me wondered if Leo knew about my secret. Although the idea sounded preposterous. Yet, Emma found out.
“If not now, then when,” I could sense that he could just not let it go.
"When you become king," I said, holding onto hope for a brighter future. "Let's table it for now. We can't miss those Prince lessons of yours.” I chuckled, attempting to lighten the mood.
“Why not go together?” He almost begged me to
