Amari’s POV Leo's voice resonated through the room as his hesitant knock reached my ears. I could sense his apprehension, as if he feared disturbing me. "Come in, Leo," I called out, my voice tinged with exhaustion. I closed my suitcase with a sigh, a sharp pain shooting up my side as I turned to face the door. The force the wolf had hit me with was meant to cause me pain. Leo cautiously entered, his eyes filled with concern as he took in the sight of me. His presence alone brought a sense of solace.
