It had been days since I had last placed my eyes on her, so when her scent overtook my senses, I did not hesitate to find her. It was not that I did not know where she was. Of course, I did. That day she confronted me in the human territory, I tracked her to an abandoned cabin. You could say I was stalking her, but we do not have to discuss those details further. She did a poor job of concealing her tracks as if she wanted to be found. I knew Amari did not need me to protect her. After a few hours and some effort, I managed to pry myself from that area.
