The week went by in a blur of school, training and trying to spy on Wayne and Stanley as they watched Roy’s house. Friday afternoon, Claire, Roy and Nate sat in her kitchen eating sandwiches and trying to decide what to do next. “Darrell is back Sunday.” Nate took another bite of his sandwich. “We have to do something before then.” She couldn’t wait another entire week before they tried to get a caged Pliethin and there was no way she wanted to go after one while her dad was at home. “We can’t rush these things,” Roy said. Nate’s phone beeped and he checked the message, grinning. “Maybe we should rush these things.
