Jessica I had just neared the end of my acceptance speech, and they were going to place the crown on my head when the gym doors disintegrated. The music stopped, and the spotlight illuminated where the doors once stood. Three large ravens flew through the opening and began circling overhead. Miss Alman screamed and then mumbled, “Prophet! Omen of evil! – prophet still, if bird or devil! Quoth the raven, nevermore,” as she began to sob loudly and uncontrollably.
