Once everyone was there, I handed Jordan the keys to drive. We started our journey out to the lake, following behind one another, with Jordan leading the way. Killian was bouncing in his seat, playing with his toys, while snacking on some crackers. I sang along softly to the radio, while Jordan stared ahead, focusing on the road. Once we got off the highway, Jordan reached over holding my hand as we drove through the beautiful countryside, passing by small farms, seeing cows and horses out in the fields.
