The queen laughed haughtily. "Yes, of course, but don't ever make a mistake and ask the King such a thing. He's a prune who only believes in true love. But son, make sure you are protected at all times. Your seed is precious and should be shared with your wife, who will become queen one day. Make double sure! Don't ever forget to cover it. You are a prince, even when you're just having fun. Those sneaky outliner girls have no morals and can pull evil tricks to try to trap you. This outliner girl is only good enough to be your plaything, a toy to you, do you understand?"
His mother asked, stroking Vance's handsome face. Prince Vance nodded his head in agreement. His mother shared the birds and the bees with him what he needed to have fun safely. After reviewing the girl's identity, the queen sent the file to be destroyed. Prince Vance portrayed himself as someone focused on his career as a future King to impress a smart girl like Aria. He pretended to have a deep interest in learning and becoming a law professional to make changes outside the city.
To make it easier for her son to capture Aria's attention. He asked the Queen to plan one of her elegant but provocative parties for him and his friends. Vance passed out fancy invitations and invited fifty-plus kids from school to the party. He held tightly onto a few invitations that were left in his hand as he approached.
Aria was hanging out with some of her friends. "Good day ladies, I'm hosting a gala at my Palace, and I want to invite you ladies to come, especially you, Aria," Vance says, as he stares at her, feeling heat flush through his body like it usually does when he looks at her physical beauty.
Aria's eyes connected with Prince Vance. "I'll be there." She gave him a small smile, taking the invitation and walking away.
Vance stood there watching her sashay. His chest puffed out.
All the girls giggled and cooed, looking back at his long, lean body. "Aria, you are such a fortunate girl to have the Prince give you special attention," Mona Jackson says, one of Aria's friends. Aria couldn't hide her blushing. She and Vance had been eying one another for a while now. He truly impressed Aria academically, along with his handsome stature.

Vance loved parties! It's the way Queen Victoria raised him. He was incredibly excited about seeing Aria outside of the school environment. She was engaging, intelligent, and of course, beautiful. Vance could stare at her for hours. The doorbell rang as guests started to arrive. The young people presented their invitation so they could enter.
The girls wore gowns, and all the guys looked the same in their dark suits. The palace ballroom was gorgeous. It was the first time many of the young people ever came to the Palace. Waiters held their trays high above everyone's head, and passers-by snatched glasses of non-alcoholic beverages. Vance mingled with a few of the guys from school. Most of the kids were stiff around him, obviously intimidated. Vance was young, strong, and healthy.
His aura was such. If he wanted to kick someone behind, he could easily do it. Nobody wanted to be Prince Vance's enemy. He made small talk with everyone to make them relax. After completing his rounds, he grabbed a drink and stood near the front lobby entrance. He watches the other young people smile and have a good time. Vance immediately turned toward the front door when he heard the sound of Aria's beautiful voice. Aria wore a peach dress that highlighted her light brown eyes and dark brown hair.
The dress was long and tight, showing every endless curve. Vance looked at her face for a few seconds, and then her full lips were a darker peach, and her eyelashes stood up from her mascara. She was already beautiful, but tonight, she was exceptional.
Vance walks up to her, "You look beautiful." He stared at her openly as he escorted her into the main hall.
"Thank you. You look very handsome yourself."
"Thanks. Let me get you something to drink." Vance snapped his fingers, and the waiter quickly approached.
"Thank you, I can use this to calm my nerves," Aria says.
"Oh, don't be nervous, I don't bite, I only nibble," Vance states winking at her. Aria smiled.
"Good, I don't want to become your prey," Vance grunted at that remark as he watched her face for a moment, unable to stop staring.
She stared back, maintaining her confidence. "There are a lot of people here..."
"Yes, everyone came." He said, sipping his drink.
"Well, I think it's time to get this party rocking!" Vance grabbed Aria's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor.
Vance threw his head back and began to move. Before long, Aria got into it, and she was moving her hips and body right on Vance. Queen Victoria stood behind the glass door admiringly, watching her son dance and have a good time.
The King stood behind her, listening to the Queen snickering.
"What?" The King inquires.
"Look at our son, a magnificent dancer. He’s so perfect. What isn't he good at?"
The King asked. "Who is the lovely young lady he's dancing with?"
"She's no one important, just a toy, someone for him to play with for now."
"Love shouldn't be something trite and frivolous, Victoria. Instead, we should be teaching him to be sincere toward females, my dear wife."
"When is young love ever sincere? You worry too much. He's a young man, for heaven's sakes! When he gets our age, he’ll be in love the way I’m in love with you, my king."
"I know I've been loyal to you all these years. Have you been loyal to me?" The King asks, staring at the queen before walking away, shaking his head.
The Queen nodded yes to his question when he had already turned to leave the corridor.
Vance's body moved with the song up tempered beat. It was his favorite song. He slid his hands to Aria’s waist and moved with her. He pulled her backside against him, so she was pressed tight to his crotch. Aria didn't find a problem with dancing against him in the same way. He loved the way she smelled and how her hair flowed. Aria placed her hands on Vance's hands, which rested on her waist, and moved even slower. Vance felt himself begin to get turned on by the movement.
Vance whispered in Aria's ear. "Would you like to see the rest of the east wing of the palace?"
“Can I?” She asked happily.
After exploring many fancy rooms, they entered a room. They stood there in the dark. "Who does this room belong to?" Aria asked.
"It's my room..." Vance lightly clapped his hands, and a dim light came on. Aria sees a gold king-size bed with silk and black coverlets and curtains.
"Vance, what are we doing here?" Aria asked with fluttering lashes.
Vance had a smirk on his face, but Aria couldn't see it due to the dimness of the light in the room.
"We are taking a break from the loud music and dancing so we can talk a little. Have a seat."
Aria took a seat on the edge of the bed, and Vance stood in front of her. Aria looked up at Vance as his face came down to hers. Vance's mouth came down on Aria's, sending a spark through them both. He moved his hands to her waist, moving her back against the bed. Their kissing became passionate quickly, with both their lips moving in sync. And while she wished she could focus on the divine feeling of his lips and tongue, a more pressing need had her full attention.
She pushed on his shoulder. "Vance."
He raised his head. "What?"
"I need to get up."
Taking her hand, he flashed a sexy grin. "I'm already up, babe." He states with a sultry grin on his face.
Aria pulled her hand back.
"Not you. Me. I have to go to the bathroom."
Frustrated, he flopped on the bed. "Go through the doors right there." He pointed to the bathroom door.
Once inside the bathroom, Aria stood looking in the mirror, unsure if she was ready to give herself to him.
Vance called, "Are you, alright baby?"
"I'll be out in a second," Aria replied.
When she finally entered the bedroom, she walked over to the door and opened it. "Let's go back to the party."
"What're you doing?"
"I want to go back to the party."
"I thought we had our little party here."
"I'm sorry, Vance. I like you a lot, but I'm not ready for this right now."
"Are you freaking kidding me? I've liked you for weeks! How much more time do you need?"
"I don't know. Why are you getting upset?" Aria asks
Vance looks at her as if he wants to shoot daggers at her. "Because you girls like to play too many games. Let's go! I'm going back to my party! Don't rush on my account." Vance says, storming past her and down the hallway.
"I don't understand why you are upset, Vance. I'm not ready." She said, following him back down the hallway and stairs to the party.
"You weren't dancing like you weren't ready," Vance says, turning back with slits in his eyes.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Aria asks with her eyes widened.
"Forget it!" Vance says, storming off.

When they got back downstairs, everyone was dancing. Aria's eyes follow to where Vance was heading. She sees Vance and a girl named Jackie from school interacting. He glances at Aria and then smiles at Jackie, who was rubbing her body up against Vance, and he just laughed it off and didn't do anything. They talked, then they shared a hug and walked over to a waiter to get a drink. Aria wasn't going to watch them all night. It would just drive her crazy.
Jackie is a beautiful girl. She's petite and sexy with voluptuous breasts. Jackie was one of those girls that got attention and loved it, and the girl certainly had Vance's attention right now. Aria couldn't stay and watch Vance with Jackie much longer, so she left the party hurt and broken. Song after song, fast or slow, Vance stood out as the center of attention and the life of the party.

The Queen's indulgence in Vance's every wish only weakened the King's power to raise Vance, his son, to become a good man and King. Vance spent his time hanging out with people in the entertainment world. His views reflected a guy named Mr. Lee. The King despised this man's business practice and his abuse of power over his employees and musical groups. The King could only imagine what the country would be like if it fell in the hands of his son Vance who seems to admire Mr. Lee and his way of handling business.
The king could only imagine his son Vance would try to rule Crisco like a tyrant king, and the whole of Crisco wouldn't be politically stable. Crisco's King Victor was very familiar with Mr. Lee, his shady business practices, and his flirtatious ways with women. A few times, his business contracts landed on the king's desk for review. He was someone to be watched by the king. He was not to be trusted, the king felt.
They shared a past back during their college years. King Victor, Mr. Park Naomi’s father, and Queen Victoria all went to college together. Mr. Lee and King Victor were never friends, especially after getting close to Victoria in college. Even though the queen knew how much the king didn’t trust or like Mr. Lee, he managed to have an invite to the queen’s palace parties. Mr. Lee seemed to take quite a bit of interest in the queen and Vance. The king finally put a stop to Mr. Lee, attending the palace parties for some years now. But Vance still seems very fond of Mr. Lee, and the king couldn’t understand why?
And now that his son is growing up and about to become a young man. His disposition has only gotten worse. He was beginning to remind the king so much of Mr. Lee. The king sat at his large mahogany desk one evening, and he began to wonder why? He stared at the queen’s large picture above the fireplace in his office.
He shook his head at the thoughts that entered his mind and went back to focusing on his written plans for his son's 21st birthday. Now that King Victor is traveling less, it's now time for him to take his son under his wings and sever the umbilical cord between Vance and his mother. When he wrote the word mother on the paper, the king stopped writing, tapping his pen on his desk, as he looked up at the queen's picture, studying her face peering beyond those eyes of hers.
Did she sleep with my enemy?
