The servants came into the bedroom while the couple was having breakfast and found the room in disarray. Examining the sheets tossed on the floor and snooping around enough to figure it all out. Nothing was happening in this room! But they played along with the charade, but Vance and Naomi hadn't fooled them one bit.
Naomi kept up the pretense of being happy. She refuses to make a mistake in front of the queen and experience her wrath. Deep down inside, after living with the prince, she wanted to give up on him altogether and go home. Especially after a month of dealing with a rude and cold-hearted man like Vance! The king was her only comfort when he could make it to dinner with the family for a meal.
