Naomi could not place him anywhere in the shadowy figure of her past or even within her present. But these past few days, he had her heart beating a little faster. Although he rarely uttered a single word, his eyes behind that mask spoke with gentle tenderness and persuasive aura of sweet kindness, drawing Naomi toward him and compelling her to search her soul anew. Was it Stockholm syndrome? She had read mystery books about such things happening.   But lately, his almost hypnotic swagger and energized emotions when he did speak stirred her to distraught confusion each time they would be together.  And now he wanted to spend breakfast, lunch, and dinner together lately.  Leaving her thoughts baffling perplexed.
