I woke up from the sound of my ringing phone. Who in their mind will call me on this wee hour? I lazily grab my phone, whoever it is, this call must be very important.
"Hello." I didn't even check who the caller might be.
"Sir, is your wife leaving this so early without a chauffeur with her? She is now approaching the gate." Said the guard.
I panic and look around the room for my wife. Soon as I checked the whole room and confirmed that she's not here, anger rose in me.
"Don't let her leave the house and don't tell her that you informed me already." I said and hang up.
I thought everything is going smooth between us. I even want to believe that she's falling for me already, but I guess I'm just imagining things.
