JULIAN'S POV
I stood there after talking, I was waiting for her to say something, but she only stared at me with a shocked expression on her face. My heart filled with fear as I wondered if I had scared her away with my declaration. She was quiet and frozen in position for a long time I even wondered if she was still alive.
“Iris, please say something. You're killing me here.” I said finally, and that seemed to awaken her from her daze.
“I am sorry, I just didn't expect that.”
“You don't have to say it back. I just wanted you to know.”
