IRIS' POV
I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face, I slept better than I had in years. I didn't even want to go to work today, I wanted to spend the entire day in Julian's arms.
Maybe all I needed was to know that Julian loved me to feel safe with him. That was what had been missing. I had been struggling to trust him, but with his confession along with the efforts he'd been making. I felt like I could finally learn to trust him. I wasn't sure exactly how I felt about him, but I knew I felt a connection to him that I'd never felt with any guy before. I needed more time to figure my feelings out and to be sure about them. I needed to be sure he would not hurt me again.
