Max

I do not know what came over me I could not help myself I wanted to f**k him so bad. I got up and had to take a shower to calm myself down. After my shower I decided I need to go for a run. So, I got dresses and made my way to the forest. I got undress behind a tree and changed into my wolf then I set off on a run. I ran all the way to the lake and was having a drink from the lake. Then I heard a growl. I started to scan the tree line but could not see anyone. Then out of nowhere a wolf jumped on me he was big and grey with a white patch over his left eye. His eyes were glowing red. He hit me to the ground and started ripping into me with his teeth and claws. I tried to get away from him but could not get out from under him. So, I tried to fight back he was extraordinarily strong, but I got a couple of good hits in then out of nowhere two wolfs come and took him down. Then I passed out from blood loss. When I came to, I was been carried by a big man with a beard.

Its ok love you are safe now.

Who are you? where are we?

I am Dion. I am one of the guards for Blue Moon. We are on the way back to the castle just relax you have lost a lot of blood.

Then I fall back to sleep. When I woke up, I was in my room with a drip in my arm. I looked around and seen cooper asleep in a chair next to me.

Cooper what happened?

Your awake I was so worried that you would not wake up. It has been 4 days Max.

What. What happened to me?

You were attacked out by the lake. We do not know who he was and who sent him, but we took care of him. The doctor’s fixed you up we were just waiting for you to wake up.

Why would someone do that?

Do not worry about it just rest I will take care of everything. I will go get the doctor.

Then Cooper left to go get the doctor. I pulled the covers back to try and get up. I had bandages wrapped around every part of me. I tried to move but everything hurt. Then the doctor came in.

Max how are you feeling?

I am sore everywhere.

Ok I will get you some painkillers and we will change your bandages just wait here and do not try to get up you need to rest.

So, I laid back down and waited for the doctor to come back. When he came in, he had a nurse with him.

Ok we will give you some morphine before we start.

He put it in my drip then I felt like I was floating.

Alright we will help you sit up and get started on your bandages.

They change all my bandages and then put me back to bed. It was not long before I fell asleep again.

I felt like I had been reading for hours. Then I got a mind link for Dion.

Sir Max was attacked by the lake we have killed the wolf, but Max is badly hurt. We are on our way back to the castle have the doctor ready.

Mum Max was just attacked we need the doctor.

Quick get the doctor he should be in his office I will get the room prepared.

I ran down to the doctor’s office and let him know that they were on the way. Then I took off towards the lake. It did not take long to find them. I took Max off Dion and started running back to the castle. She was breathing so shallow I did not think she was going to make it.

Hold on Max you cannot leave me, yet I only just found you. Hold on babe.

I ran as fast as I could to the doctor’s office at the castle as fast as I could.

Quick put her on the bed.

So, I went over to the bed and laid her down. He started to get to work on her she had big deep gashes across her stomach and back that were very deep. She had a black eye a fat lip and small cuts across her check and a deep cut on the side of her neck. She also had small cuts all over her arms and legs with bruises. The doctor cleaned her up stitched up the deep cuts then bandaged her up. When he was finished, she was almost covered head to toe in bandages. He has her on a drip with antibiotics and pain killers and putting blood into her.

Now all we can do is wait.

I sat next to her day and night for 2 days. Then the doctor came in.

Doctor is there any news?

There is nothing more I can do for her we just have to wait and see if she will wake up. We will be moving her up to her room so when she wakes up, she will be more relaxed and comfortable.

So, we moved her up to her room to make her as comfortable as possible. Another 2 days went by there was still no news about the attack and still no change in max. then there was a knock at the door.

Knock knock

Who is it?

Its john.

Do you have any news for me?

We have not found out who has sent him yet, but we have a couple of good leads that I am following up on tonight. I will let you know if I find anything out tonight. I am heading out now.

Once he had left, I sat back down on my chair and fell asleep.

I woke up to a knock at the door.

It is me john.

I have found out some information. His name was Jackson Walter. He had connections to the Red River pack.

Did Alpha Marcus send him?

I do not know for sure if he sent him, but it all leads back to Red River.

That fucken son of a b***h. I am going to kill him.

I should have known that he was involved but I would never have thought that he would kill his own daughter. But if he is involved then I will end his live and

rip his pack apart. I cannot just sit around here and take it, but I cannot leave Max, I need to be here when she wakes up. I walked up and down the length of the room thinking about everything and what could it mean. What would drive her father to do this to her. It was not making any sense. All I could come to was that he does not want her to become the Luna of all wolfs. But why would he not want her to? She is not one to get revenge on him for the way he treated her so he cannot be worried about that. I need to talk to mother about this there maybe something I am missing but I cannot leave just in case Max wakes up I will have to talk to her tomorrow its to late now to wake her up. I sat there just waiting for max to wake up. I read a couple of magazines before I feel asleep in my chair.

We started off quickly to Max’s room and the doctor went inside to see Max. I waited outside till the doctor was finished so I could talk to him when he had checked her over. It felt like it took forever then he came out of her room.

Doctor, how is she?

It looks like there is no lasting damage and her cuts are healing nicely. In fact, they have nearly fully healed.

Even her deep ones?

Yes, they are almost completely healed. She has healed up amazingly fast. a lot faster than normal. Is there anything I need to know about her?

Not that I can think of doctor.

I could not tell the doctor that she is a royal wolf the less people that know the better. We cannot let people know till after we are mated as every alpha will Be after her if they find out she is a royal wolf. By the time I have finished talking to the doctor and gone into her room she had fallen asleep. so, I went to go see my mother to find out what she had found.

Mother are you in there?

There was no answer, so I made my way down to my father’s office.

There was no answer. Were, are they? So, I made my way to the kitchen only the kitchen staff were in there, so I had a look in the dining room. It was empty so I went to the lounge and found my mother, father, sister and brother in there siting around the fire.

Son come in and sit down. We have found something out that you need to know.

Sit down hun I have found something out about Max’s past and her family.

So, I went in and sat down in a big armchair.

Well as I told you max’s mother was Sharon Winters. Her birth mother was Jessica Lockwood, and her father was Liam Leptin. As you know their family did not get along, so they did not approve of the baby. She was forced to get rid of the baby.

So, she is a Lockwood and a Leptin.

Yes, but that is not all. You said that max told you her mother died when she was 4.

Yes.

It turns out that Alpha Marcus found out who Sharon’s mum was, and he wanted her for her royal wolf so he could rule. But she never showed any signs of royal blood. Then Alpha Marcus killed her because he only wanted her for the power that came with marring a royal wolf.

What! he killed her?

Yep, he did, and he made it look like an accident.

Then when he found out that Max was a royal wolf, he needed to make sure that she did not marry an Alpha and rule all wolfs. that is why he does not want you to marry her. He is still looking for a royal wolf to marry so he can rule.

Son have you told Max what she is yet?

No, I have not yet.

You need to tell her; her life depends on it. But we cannot let anyone know what she is, or we will have every power-hungry Alpha after her.

Alright father I will tell her in the morning.

Alright son let us get to bed we all need a good night sleep now we know Max is going to be ok.

So, I made my way up to my room but not before stopping to have a look in on Max. she was sound asleep, so I continued up to my room. I hopped in the shower and just let the hot water run over my body as I thought about how I was going to tell Max all that I know about her and her family. I stayed in the shower for a long time before finally turning it off and climbing into bed and drifting off to sleep.
