The Surprise

He opened the door with the spare key and saw something which totally surprised him. But it was little obvious rather it was something which is very unusual. Sarah was sleeping at the couch with scattered hairs the makeup gets totally wasted and the tears made the eyeliner to spare the mark on her cheeks, on one side of the sofa lay an empty scotch bottle that looked like it had fallen from her hand as she fell asleep and on the other side of the couch her phone was lying. He went to her and sat on the floor saying, “wake up love! Wake up love!” she wakes up and shoved him saying, “go there where you are staying yesterday! Why did you come here?” Ryan said, “sorry baby I forgot our dinner as I stuck in a meeting”-standing up from the floor and moving towards her- “and after the meeting I stuck in making few more presentation.” She said, “stop lying! If that happened you can at least call me and told me about the meeting and if that wasn’t possible you could have answered my call.” Showing the phone call history to his face. “I had called you sixty times but you hadn’t answered any of my call.” Ryan said, “sorry baby! but my phone was on silent mode so, I didn’t notice your calls.” She said, “don’t call me baby and go to hell I don’t want to talk with you, you have no time for me.” Ryan tried his very best to convince her that there no fault of him and he was guilty of his mistake but she didn’t listen to him and pushing him out of the room closing the door at his nose.

Sarah’s head was aching due to the hangover of last night. she ordered a lemonade for her and went to take. That was morning time and the hotel staff was very busy so the staff took a little much time in providing the service rather it was one of the top hotels of Paris but that day it seems like an average hotel due to its bad service. But by God grace the room service ranged the door bell, Sarah grabbed her bath robe and opened the door. The room service said, “ma’am your lemonade.” She said, “go and keep it on the table.” The room service started leaving, saying, “bon Appetit!” she sat on the sofa and started sipping lemonade and to distract her mind from Ryan she switched on the television. She gets dizzy and despite of the distraction her mind was keep going on Ryan. The doorbell ranged again, Sarah went on the door and when she opened the door there was a tall man in black suit, he looked like he was in his early 40s. the man said, “madam there is bad news for you.” Sarah said, “but first tell me who are you and how do you know me?” the man replied, “madam I am driver in your company and I had seen you a few times in our office when you visited with Ryan sir.” “What is the news?” Sarah aske. He replied, “madam Ryan sir had experienced an accident and he was in hospital so I came here to take you to him.” This news just made her in crying. She was feeling totally shattered and started to go without changing the dress not even took her phone. The driver followed her and when she started to search for cab the news blew her mind. He came with the car and opened the door for her. she entered in the car and said, “take me to Ryan instantly.’ he started the car to take her to Ryan. he started to drive gently as he doesn’t want to give even a little jerk to her but she busted in just minute,’ drive faster!” he speeds up the car but that wasn’t enough to satisfy her after next few minutes she said again, “drive faster! Or do I need to take a cab?” he started driving faster but the signal become red so he stopped the car so she said, “why did you stopped the car? I want to go to Ryan as soon as possible.” He replied, ‘the signal is red and I can’t do anything.” But suddenly the signa become green so, he started the car. After few minutes he lost his control and said, ‘madam stop weeping he should not in danger and may be good.” She said, “I wish but for now please take me to him as soon as possible.” He replied, “okay ma’am!”

The car stopped near the red carpet and when she came out of the car, she saw something which changed her sadness into happiness and the tears of sorrow suddenly changed into the tears of happiness. The reason of her happiness was Ryan who standing on the other side of the carpet. She ran towards him and went and hugged him. He also locked her in his arms and kissed her at her head. She moved a little back still in his arms and said, “why did you do this to me? do you know how much I got scared?” he said, “sorry baby but I felt very guilty of yesterday night and at the morning you were too mad at me so I have to get you here other than making you to believe that I have an accident.” She said, “this is-” he locked her lips by his lips and they started smooching. They were looking very beautiful together. She said, “don’t do this again ever I love you much and I can’t even think about bad things about you.” Again, she kissed him at his forehead. He swinged his hands through her hairs, “you are very beautiful.” She said, “don’t lie I haven’t even dressed and do you know how much I was excited yesterday night for the dinner.” He said, “sorry baby but it was 50 million dollars deal due to which I forgot about the dinner but I am going to correct that mistake today. My lady! Will you have lunch with me?” sitting at his knees. She was very pleased by his loving behavior and also that tall young blue-eyed man with bearded is enough to get yes from any women. She said, “my pleasure but first I need to dress up.” He said, “I know what you want and that’s there the vanity has come there are dresses in that go and have the one which you like.” She went to the vanity to get dressed up for the lunch, there are many pretty dresses in the vanity. She tried few of them and after sometime she found a magenta gown that looked very beautiful at her and she wore that dress that day. She came out of the vanity for the lunch Ryan had also changed his outfit from a black tuxedo to a casual wear. He offered her help in coming down from the vanity, she clutched his hand came out of the vanity. He took her to the place where he planned the lunch. It was an open area fully decorated with flowers and statues. They started their lunch and he stand up slightly and kissed her. She blushed a little then said, “hey! Due to the anger I forget to tell you that yesterday I made a new friend.” He said, “ooh…” she said, “hmm! She is also from America and she shifted to Paris few years back and also owns a boutique.” He replied, “ooh...did you went on shopping yesterday?” she replied, “yes! But how did you know?” he replied, “I guessed when you said that your friend owns a boutique.” She said, “very smart”-she clutched his hands and kissed them- “that’s why I love you this much.” He said, “only because this.” In a cheesy manner. She replied, “don’t you know for what reasons I love you?” showing fake anger. He replied, “yes I do you don’t need to tell but you have to complete your story about your friend.” She said, “there is no story about her I just wanted to tell you that she is your fan and asked me to introduce her to you so, I just wanted to meet her once.” He said, “okay! But for this you don’t need to take my permission.” She said, “you are too busy what will happen as if you miss our meet like yesterday night.” He said, “yesterday night I forget about our dinner because of he-” she said, “no I don’t want to take risk. Hey did you saying her who is she” Ryan said, “no! No, you heard wrong I wanted to say, ‘him’ and I am talking about Mr. Daniel.” She didn’t argue much but the seed of doubt got planted.

What do you think what is going to happen next? It is sure that Ryan was not talking about Mr. Daniel but then about whom he was talking about? Is It a girl?
