It was already dark when we got home.
I am here again, in this spot, not being able to have my own peace. I wanted to know how's Chad, what he's doing and such but I can't just give him a call.
For that, I dialed Tanya instead.
"Hello?"
"Dexter? You should stop calling."
What? She's not supposed to be like this.
"Uh why? Did I do something wrong, Tanya?"
"No, I'm sorry but even if I wanted to tell you, I can't. Trust me, it’s best if you stay out of our lives now."
I almost thought I was dreaming, I couldn't quite understand what was happening.
"What? Tanya please..."
She was no longer on the other line.
What was that about? Are they... getting married? And somehow Tanya found out about me and Chad? Is that what this is about?
