Eric's p.o.v

I have been feeling a bit weird lately. My feelings are starting to taunt me and i don't know why. Ever since Alex came into the picture, I've been having weird feelings. Could it be that I'm jealous?. I shook my head. Why would i be jealous? I'm not dating Charlotte so it's weird for me to be jealous. I was so deep in thoughts that i didn't know when i bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry". I turned to apologize to the person only for me to see that it was Charlotte. "Charlotte". I called.

"Hi Eric. Is Alex home?". She asked and immediately the jealousy i was feeling became so obvious that i didn't reply to her question. "You know what, never mind...I'll find out myself". And with that she left.

Eric, what is wrong with you? you of all people know how dangerous jealousy can be if not tended to immediately. I heard my thought say as i sighed. I decided to go back home, not because i wanted to know why Charlotte needed to see my cousin but because he needed to talk to her.

***Alex's P.o.v***

I was in my room listening to music when i heard a knock on my door. "Come in". I answered without taking a look at the person.

"Alex". I heard her voice call. I could tell who the person is without even looking. It was Charlotte. I turned to face her only to see that she was sweating and crying?. I walked up to her as i held her hand, leading her to my bed where she sat down.

"Charlotte, what's wrong? why are you crying?". I asked.

"Why me?". She asked. She was looking so tired due to the running and her question made me know she was hurting. So instead of saying anything, i decided to listen to her. "What did i do to deserve all this?.....Would it have been better if i wasn't born?..Tell me....Would it be better if i just die?". She looked into my eyes searching for answers.

I sat beside her on the bed as i took hold of her hands. "Charlotte... I want you to know that you are very special. You are amazing and sweet. There's something unique about you that makes you stand out from the rest and the devil knows that...that is why he's trying to destroy you so that you don't get to fulfill your destiny".

"But I'm not even doing anything why won't they just leave me alone?".

"If they leave you alone, it means you have nothing in you. It means nothing good can come out of you but because of what you have, what you're made of....that's why they are doing this to you".

"Why isn't that man doing anything?". She asked.

"What man?".

"The one that brought me into this world. Why is he just staying up there, watching me go through all this alone? Why isn't he helping me? Why?". The tears she had been holding back suddenly started rushing down her cheeks.

"Is that what you think?".

"It's not what i think, it's the truth. He is OK with me going through all this..I'm sure he finds pleasure in them".

"Don't talk like that Charlotte". I told her. I know she's hurt and i can understand how she feels but if she continues to have such thoughts, it's going to be really hard for her to see the truth for what it is. "First, that man has a name. His name is God and who says He doesn't care about you? do you think He is not hurt seeing you go through all this?....". I smiled. "...If only you can imagine how many times you've crossed His mind. Despite the number of people living in this world, He knows you. He knows you more than you know yourself. He said in His words that He knows the number of your hair..Can you believe that?". I tries to suppress the tears in my eyes. "He loves you that He gave the only son He had to die for our sins...Isn't this love?".

"Then why isn't He doing anything to save me? Why am i going through all this pain? why?".

"He's waiting for you".

She looked up at me. "What do you mean?".

"He's waiting for you to ask Him for help". I answered. "He's waiting for you to accept Him..only then, can He help you?".

"How then am i suppose to accept Him? i can't even see Him....I am still in doubt that he exist...How can i accept someone that's invisible?".

I smiled. "Accept first and you will get to see Him". I stood up and bent down in front of her so i could see her clearly. I wiped her tears and pulled her chin up so i could look into her eyes. "Tell me Charlotte, Do you want to accept him?". I asked.

She looked at me and the next minute, she started screaming. "Get away from me!". She screamed as i held her hand. She tried so hard to push me but i knew what i was dealing with. "Get away from me!".

"Charlotte, I want you to listen to me.... You can fight this...You can fight them...don't let control you".

She was screaming and her tears were coming out of her eyes. "Leave me alone! Get away from me!".

"Charlotte, If you can hear me... I want you to shout the name of Jesus as loud as you can.... Just say Jesus...He's the only one that can set you free".

I could see her struggling, everytime she opens her mouth to say Jesus, her voice becomes inaudible. The screaming continued as Eric and Michael came in.

"What's going on here?". Eric asked.

"She needs help Eric". I told him. Eric took my position and stood in front of Charlotte.

"Charlotte, I know you can hear me...and i want you to know that if you don't fight this...you will never be set free. I want you to do something...". Eric said as he held her hands. "Sing this song with me". He said.

¶ There is power, in the name of Jesus

There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain¶. Eric sang.

Charlotte continue screaming as Eric, Alex and Michael sang. Immediately Charlotte opened her mouth, the words that came out was the lyrics of the song.

¶There is power in the name.....of Jesus

There is deliverance in the name of Jesus.

To break every chain, to break every chain, to break every chain¶.

Charlotte continue singing until she felt the heaviness in her heart leave her. As she was singing, she fell down on her knees crying and the words she had been silent about, came out of her mouth.

"Dear Lord, thank you for allowing witness how great your power is. Thank you for always...being there for me. Thank you for setting me free. From this moment on, I accept you as my Lord and personal Savior...in you, i find my peace...In Jesus name".

"Amen". Everyone Chorused.

After the prayer, Charlotte fainted.
