Alex's P.o.v
Charlotte had been whining for me to let her go and the driver was starting to suspect that i might be a kidnapper.
"Let me go douchebag". She yelled as i tried shushing her but that made her scream a little bit louder.
"Is everything ok back there?". The driver asked.
"No". Charlotte said still struggling to get out of the car.
"Can you drive a bit faster? My cousin might run mad if she remains in here". I said making Charlotte glare at me. "what?". i asked. "Where you expecting me to say my girlfriend?". She ignored me and sat still as we enjoyed the ride in peace.
"We have arrived". The driver said as the car came to a halt.
I paid the driver and went out to open the door for Charlotte. The moment Charlotte got down from the vehicle, She ran as fast as her legs could carry. Even though she ran first, I still caught her without any stress.
"Can you just leave me alone?". She asked trying to wriggle out of my grasp.
"I'd advice you stop struggling". I told her and she stopped immediately because her wrist was starting to hurt. "Just stay calm and hear me out first".
Charlotte did as she was told. "What do you want from me?". She asked.
I stared at her to see if everything my cousins said about her were true. "why don't we grab coffee together?".
"Are you asking me out on a date?". She asked folding her arms across her chest.
"If i am would you say yes?". I asked as she ignored me, Walking ahead of him to the nearest coffee shop.
"I am only going with you because i have had nothing to eat". She turned to check if i got her message.
I nodded. "I will keep that in mind".
"And this is not a date".
"absolutely not". After seeing that we were clear, we entered the coffee shop as we took a seat facing opposite eachother while a waiter came to take our orders.
"What would you like?". The waiter asked.
"Something light for the lady and i will have coffee".I dictated as the waiter took his leave to get our orders.
"So, tell me why you won't leave me alone". She asked.
I shrugged. "Maybe because i find you amusing?".
Charlotte scoffed. "I can see you know nothing about me".
"Actually, i have heard quite a lot about you and that's why i find you amusing". I told her as the waiter arrived with our orders.
The waiter passed me the coffee. "And fruit juice for the lady". The waiter passed the drink to her. Charlotte smiled at the waiter who winked at her in return.
I could tell that the waiter was seduced already. "I guess i see what my cousins' were talking about". I thought as I looked back to see that they were both ogling at each other.
"Why don't we exchanged seats?". I stood up and went to the other side where Charlotte was sitting, I pulled charlotte up and took her to my chair which made her attention focused on only me. "Now that's more like it". I said when I saw that they won't be communicating. I drank my coffee as the band began to play. They were playing "somebody to love by Lewis Capaldi". My attention were focused on the band.
"what if i play you something?". I turned to ask Charlotte who of course choked on her drink.
"What?". She asked trying to stop herself from coughing.
I smiled as I stood up to meet the band.

Charlotte's p.o.v
Alex was discussing something with the band and they were laughing.
Then they gave him a guitar and a microphone as they left the stage for him. "Is he really going to sing?". I asked myself.
He began to play the guitar strings as he pulled the microphone to himself. He shut his eyes as he began to sing.

I could feel the tears rushing down my cheeks. I wiped my tears and when i looked up, he was staring at me. I knew that song "I am already enough by fearless soul". I had no idea why i stood up and joined him on stage. He gave me a reassuring smile as he passed the microphone to me. I held the microphone and sang the verse two.

He played the strings as the crowds cheered and applauded. I tried so hard to hold back my tears but I couldn't. Alex stood up, pulled me away from the stage as he took me to one corner and hugged me. "That was beautiful". He looked at me as he wiped my tears. "I am here for you every step of the way".
I sobbed as he pulled me into his warm embrace, wrapping his arms around me. "I am here".
"Promise me you won't leave???". She asked and Alex could understand what she meant.
"I promise...I won't". This time I hugged him first.
