Erin's POV Wood splintered in every direction as the sound of glass shattering had Azure forcing me behind him. I stood wide eyed and confused as a shape… no.. several shapes cloaked in the darkness of the shadows appeared in the now busted frame. Their eyes were bright red, burning like smoldering embers, but the sounds of low growls were what truly terrified me. Azure was relaxed, slowly rolling the cuffs on his sleeves to his elbows, “You two,” he let out a deep, dangerous chuckle. “Made a terrible mistake disturbing me on this lovely evening.” The shadowy figures let out a low, deep growl, emitting a rotten scent that made my stomach roll.
