The world was cloaked in a blanket of darkness as I stepped out onto the creaking wooden porch of Finn’s house.
I stared up at the night sky, feeling a dozen different emotions.
Furious that my day with Erin was interrupted by f*****g Mila. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but I plan to crush that little rule. She was going to learn really f*****g quickly that I won’t tolerate her bullshit. Not in my pack or in my life.
