Erin's POV My head rested against the cool surface of the window as I watched raindrops slide down the other side. The world around us moved in a blur. Azure insisted that I sit on his lap, and I didn’t have the energy to fight him on it. I felt numb all over. Everything that I knew was a lie, and everything I thought I’d do seemed like a distant memory now.
