“I wouldn’t typically defend Az in this type of situation, but where Mila’s concerned; You don’t have anything to worry about,” Finn finally broke the tense silence that had stretched between us. “She will be punished for how she acted earlier.”
“What do you mean, punished?” I whispered.
My mind was still in a jumbled mess. I hated the way I acted earlier. Not only did I freeze up and spout nonsense towards that woman like I had any right to, but I found myself jealous that she was close to Azure.
