Erin's POV Finn’s green eyes were locked with mine, but it was clear his mind was somewhere else. His unblinking gaze had a pit forming in my stomach. I shook my head, “Never mind,” my voice was barely above a whisper, embarrassment swimming through my veins. “I am sorry I asked.” “Erin,” Finn finally blinked, and his eyes seemed to refocus, “I’m happy to stay.” Lightning shattered across the darkness just before another rumble of thunder shook the darkened house.
