Erin's POV Rowan blinked, his honeyed eyes looking glazed from the drugs keeping his pain at bay. They were also clearly making him delirious considering he wants me to apologize for what happened before he left on his “business” trip. Silence stretched between us, and the stale, sterile air of his hospital room made everything that much more real.
