It took my everything not to run from the stage, it felt so uncomfortable becoming centre of attraction to everyone . Almost everyone eyes were on me . The night had already turn disaster for me . “breath , Lia breath “ taking deep breath I looked around the stage they were all too happy to be hear .  walking up few steps in front as the girl Infront of me  sold . again people cheered more men whistling now. It was my turn now I walked Infront with small smile . just waiting for this to be over . Not focusing on anyone I looked around the hall . The host introduce me with some very good adjectives , which I don’t know about myself . Bidding started normal , increasing slowly . turning my graze to the direction of our table I caught Jackson eye;s watching  me as if I was his prey tonight. He didn’t bid on anyone .

As the price got higher some man dropped out . The host about to call it , when a new voice joined .

“500,00,000 dollars.” It wasn’t Jackson  , I know because my eye was on his the whole time . I looked around to find the hand od mark raised . his eye was focused on me . With smirk plastered on him face. “ what the hell he want from me “  I thought but stopped as the voice snatched my attentions 550,00,000 dollars my boyfriend shouted  raising his hand . gasp can be heard as the price rising with both the man continue to bid  people watch both the man glaring at each other and the bid was going to be the highest of the night . I was shocked myself . how much money does they have.

800.000.000  mark raised his hand . smirking at Jackson . If glare could kill  the person . Mark would have been dead a million times by now.

The room gasped in unison , shocked beyond measure . from corner of my eye I saw mark raise both hand in surrender and take a step back . still smirking .  the host jaw dropped as he tremble to announce the sold . Jackson walked toward me  extending his hand  helping me down  the stage as people grew out of the stupor and started applauding  .

Jackson mom dad congratulated us , rose was jumping in happiness. “ I barely paid attention to their word , as my mind was still occupied by the amount of money he just spend on me. “ what was that”  I asked him . “ That was mark being an asshole “ he spoke in anger tone.  “ why did you spend that much money just to dance with me “.  I stopped walking as I spoke to him “ I don’t want anyone except me to dance with you , you are mine , I don’t share “ he spoke smirking . “ you are insane “ I spoke as I walked ahead “ I’ve been worse “ he said chuckling .  

 Then again Jackson went to talk to other people and I  sit near bar eating and drinking . “ I know I didn’t win but care for a dance “  I turn around to find mark sanding their extending his hand . I look beside me for Jackson but he was busy in conversation “ it just a small dance, or ou don’t want to dance with me  “ Mark spoke .  I smiles neversouly before grabbing his hand . we walked in middle of the other couple . he put a hand on my waist  and  used other to hold mine. Automatically moving with the tune . “ so why were you trying to beat Jackson “ I started “ I wasn’t “ he spoke laughing  I frowned in confusion” I was just playing with him you know like brothers , “ he spoke “ and also I wanted to know you , well to and Jackson being around I can’t do that “ he spoke smirking .” he spend to much “ I frowned “ well it’s not like he can’t pay “ he simply said . “ can I ask you something “ he question “sure”  . “why are you with him , I mean if it’s money I can give you more then him so why not be with me “  I frowned “what the hell are you speaking I am not here for money “ I spoke . “your relationship seems to fake to be real. And if he is paying you for being with him just for this occasion and just to lure his parents then I will pay you double expose him “   Mark smirk. “ if  I say all this to Jackson you will be beaten up here “  I spoke frustrated .” you won’t dare baby” he winked “ you have snatched my girlfriend bro “ Jackson spoke angrily before yanking mark away from me . “ Jackson spoke angrily as he yanked  mark away from me  “as you were busy I thought to give her so company bro “ mark spoke “stay away from her I am warning you “ Jackson warned   Mark raised both of his hand  in . surrender and winked at me before going away.

Lia POV ENDED. 

Jackson pulled her out of  the hall in the garden outside . " why were you with him , i am telling you again stay away from them . " his eye was red and sweat covered his forhead . Lia wanted to feel scared of him but couldn't , she pulled him in hug " i want to be scared of your expression but why am i not able to " she wishper in hs ear. Jackson closed his eye returning back the hug . " what the matter between you two. If you will open up , it will feel really good.   "   jackson hummed not leaving her  " are you caring for me " he asked  " what if i say i am "  lia spoke , jackson smile "i like that ,  i will tell you some other time for now just stay like this "  he spoke .
