TEN Tad Culpepper, Sam Reavis, and Daniel McLarty sat in Tad’s large corner office, waiting for the arrival of Clint Raymond, Paul Mustang, Joey Stephens, and Ken Hargrove. Tad sat behind a small claw-foot desk that might have been dwarfed by the size of the office, but with the help of his wife, he had taken advantage of the extra room by filling it with a conference table and eight chairs, in addition to a love seat and two guest chairs. The result was a cramped appearance and a resolve by everyone who visited the office to never consult Jane Culpepper as their decorator. The three men sat quietly – Reavis and McLarty in guest chairs across from Culpepper – and wondered just exactly what was so critical that had caused Clint Raymond, et al, to call this meeting.
