Eleanor took the phone, her face darkened as she scrolled through the video.
"Kneel!" Her voice thundered, echoing through the living room.
Charlotte, who had been panicking since I mentioned having evidence, perked up at Eleanor's outburst.
She'd been so sure I had nothing to back up my claim.
After all, she'd been there, across the lake, thinking that as long as she stuck to her lie, I'd be defenseless.
"Didn't you hear Grandma? Kneel!" she said, her voice dripping with arrogance as she grabbed my arm, trying to force me down.
