Immediately Damon entered the room, Anna threw a pillow at him.
“Get the f**k out of my room.” She yelled.
Damon stood annoyingly still. His calm nature always frustrated her and he knew it.
“ You should calm down. The more you yell, you're closer to having headaches.” He said.
He moved towards the window and opened the curtains. He switched on the air conditioner and turned on the ventilator.
“ I can handle those myself. Just leave my room.” She said, finally calm.
Damon hummed and left the room.
Anna slumped on her bed.
“ I think I need to run away from this house. I'm getting sick the more I stay here.”
A knock on her door interrupted her self–convo.
“ Come in.” She said thinking it was her mom.
The door swung open and Sasha barged in.
“Fish bone?” She asked. Her eyes were wide and her nostrils were flared.
Anna laughed hard.
“ Don't take it to heart. It was all in the heat of the moment.” She said, doubling the laughter.
Sasha stomped but before she could say anything, Damon walked in.
“ Leave.” He ordered with a stern voice.
Sasha faced him, hands akimbo.
“ And what if I don't?” She dared.
Damon didn't say anything but within seconds, some men in black appeared and forcefully dragged Sasha out.
She resisted. Of course she would.
“ Damon…you can't do this. You should listen to your parents, they know the best for you.”
“ I'm the best for you, not that crazy, yelling psych of a wife you have.”
Hearing that, Anna shot up from her bed in an attempt to go after Sasha.
But ….
As she took two steps past Damon, he wrapped his hands around her.
One hand on her stomach and the other resting inches below her neck.
Anna stood still terribly aware of the contact their body made. The heat radiating from his body was enough to boil water.
She stood and watched as Sasha was dragged down the stairs and out of the house.
“ Tsk, I wish she fell or something.” Anna mumbled.
Anna tried to move from his grip but she couldn't.
“ I know you have plans to end my life, but I don't want to die by strangulation.” She casually said.
“ Must you react at all times?” Damon asked.
Anna stiffened.
His breath fanned against her collar bone.
“ Must you always be calm?” She shot back and tried again to free herself.
He let her go.
“ So what did you gain from what you did? Mr Superhero.” She rolled her eyes and pushed him out of her room.
“ Thank you for your help. Bye.” With that she slammed the door hard.
Poor Damon
