"Aeron!" I yelled, running after him after he splashed ice water on my skirt. "It's fifteen degrees out here! It was supposed to be the target!! Not me!!"
Aeron chuckled, moving swiftly and dodging my swipes before effortlessly maneuvering me into his grasp.
I was breathless, huffing with exertion as his hands slipped around my waist. "I mean, I can always make you warmer," He said, his voice dropping with husk.
My cheeks reddened instantly, but I didn't push him or fight back. "You're impossible."
"Well, isn't that the whole point? You'll never find anyone like me," He whispered, a mischievous smirk forming on his face.
"I bet," I said dryly.
