Chapter 7:The closer we are

"Andrew what are you doing" Nora asked Andrew angrily. "Nothing much,I came to say sorry to her about her mother's death" Andrew replied. "Then why does it seem like she dragged you out of the door" Nora asked again

"I don't know for her maybe she was angry because I told her to move on that I love you now" Andrew said coolly.

A smile lit up Nora's face. "Okay I believe you she must be jealous because of us" Nora said happily."Yes baby she must" Andrew agreed."But wait oo,Nora why did go to her house"Andrew asked. "Em,em,I went....there to see her" Nora replied fearfully. Andrew did not believe what she told him but he has to leave the sleeping dog to lie.

They left Becky's house walking hands and hands.

Becky resumed her work on Monday, she was very happy to be back in her workplace yet again.

"Becky our boss is calling you" Clara Called out.

"I will be in her office in a jiffy" Becky said. "No she really needs you now, follow me" Clara said dragging Becky by her arms. The duo left for their boss's office.

"Becky and Clara, I want you two to go to China. We will be having American, Chinese historical exhibition over there and they will be the people to host it. So I would like you two to represent us there by making sure that everything is in order." Their boss said

"No problem ma,but how long are we staying there and when are we leaving?" Clara asked

"You leave for China first thing tomorrow and you people are to stay one week" The boss replied

"What about our reservation" Becky asked

"King hotel" The boss replied "so go now and prepare yourselves. Your flights has been booked"

They left the office, Clara was so excited she loves tour a lot. Becky was not feeling anything just her body is giving some signs that she Can't tell.

As Becky was going home that day, she went to her hospital.

"Good evening mam,how may we help you" The nurse asked. "It's just my body, it doesn't feel like my body anyhow" Becky complained

"What do you mean, can you emphasize more on how you feel" The doctor said

"I just feel dizzy whenever I do a little work and a times I feel nauseating, I just can't tell. I don't know if it was because I lost my mother few weeks ago" Becky complained yet again. "OK,when last did you see your menstruation?" the doctor asked

"Last Month but doctor why that question?" Becky asked in bewilderment. "Just a series of check up routine. When last did you have s*x"? She asked again. Becky was no longer comfortable with the whole question but she had to act along.

" Close to one year now but wait....... "Becky had a blurry flashback. She remembered kissing a guy....Richard but what happened next she can't fathom." Do you remember anything now?"the doctor asked

"Not really,I can't tell if it was my imagination" Becky replied.

"We are going to draw your blood to do blood pregnancy test" the doctor said. "How long is it going to take the result to come out" Becky asked. "Just half an hour, wait for us" The doctor said. She called out the nurse to draw Becky's blood for the test. Becky was still confused about everything. "Let me not think too much until the result is out" Becky consoles herself.

"Miss Michael" The nurse called out."Am here "Becky answered." You can come in now "The nurse told her.

" Miss Michael, the test result is out."She kept quit for a moment ."Pleas go on am all ears"Becky told her

"The test result showed positive, you're two weeks gone" The doctor announced. "No Doctor it can never be true. How can some one who did not have s*x get pregnant? Becky asked bewildered. " It can't be possible dear but calm down first, think about the event from the past few weeks. You can be able to tell whether the test result is negative or positive "she said." No, no ma,there is nothing to think there in,am not pregnant and that is final "Becky retorted back and tried to leave." Please pay over the counter as you leave "the doctor said. Becky didn't say anything as she left her.

Becky reached home and sat down on the chair trying to remember who she had her last s*x with. She can only think of Andrew but their last s*x was one year ago so he is not included. Then she remembered that handsome guy;then again she remembered the kiss." So after the kiss what happened again!"Becky asked no one in particular. Then she started remembering hazily about what happened that night. They had s*x,she was even the one begging him to put it in. She nearly collapsed when she remembered everything. She started crying while holding her tummy.

"Baby am sorry, mummy is sorry. She can't even remember anything about dad apart from his name. Am so sorry that I can't find a dad for you" She said in between tears. "No what happened to me cannot happen to you. I must find a father for you at all cost" She assures herself as she wipes tears away from her eyes. She stood up and went in to eat and take her bath determined to find a father for her unborn child.

The next day, Becky and Clara boarded the flight heading to China. As they reached there, they took a cab going to the Kings hotel,where they reserved. They had their own separate room. Becky went to hers and rested.

"I need to rest and eat for my baby to stay healthy" Becky said as soon as her food has been served to her.

She later ate to her satisfaction before she heard a knock on the door. She opened it and saw the hotel attendant in front of her. "Sorry to disturb you ma,we are having a party in our hotel as a reconciliation between our vip guest and our hotel." the attendant said.",Okay I will come besides it's going to be fun"Becky said.

Becky washed up put on fresh make up and put on her best clothe that she came with her. She put on a high heel. She is damn so gorgeous! Beauty is screaming all over body. She loves party a lot. As soon as she enters the hall of the event, all eyes were on her. She is so beautiful. Her cat walking step said it all. She is a woman of dominance. She loves it when people are always looking at in awe because of her beauty. She doesn't care. Then Richard saw her from afar;he was so excited to see her again and at the same time wondering what she is doing in China. "Could it be she is a stalker" Richard said in his heart. But he waved it aside,just seeing her alone brightens his face.

Becky on her on part is being careful not to drink any alcohol for her baby's safety. She values her. She sat down looking at business people discussing with each other, she sat lonely she knew no one from here. A young man came to her,he is so handsome and matured. Everything about him is screaming handsome.

"Hello beauty" He greeted her. As he sat down in the chair near her. "Hey" Becky muttered uninterested. "I came wondering how a beauty will sitting alone all by herself, it's hardly seen"he continued.

" Am sorry am not used to sitting with people "Becky said

" Then you need to start getting used to it right now"He said and laughing loudly. "Who is actually this guy making jest of himself" Becky asked in her heart.

"I am Ethan,I work as an art collector based in American, I came here for American China art exhibition" Ethan introduced him self. Becky's face lightened as soon as he introduced himself. "I am Becky Michael, I work in Art and tourism center in America, I came here for the sane thing" Becky introduced herself happily as she brought out her hands to shake Ethan. They shook hands together while smiling at one another. Richard was on the other end greeting some people precisely investors, he saw the smile on Becky's face with another man,he was jealous he can't withstand it but he needs these men to sign the contract with his company, he can't lose it.

"Am so happy to see you,so tell me more about yourself" Ethan said

"As in how," Becky asked.

"I mean your age,work life,your marital status and everything about yourself, least I forget your phone number even thou I know very well that I will be seeing you around for some time"

"Okay. Like I said earlier, am Becky, I work in the tourism center,am 25 and about my marital status am single." Becky said with a sigh. "I can't totally believe that a beauty like you is single" Ethan wondered loudly. "I'm single honestly." Becky confirmed.

"Okay" They talked for a very Long time giggling and smiling until Becky stood up to leave. "I think I have to go now, am feeling sleepy" Becky said

"Okay beauty,it's my pleasure meeting someone like you" Ethan said as he stood up to walk her."My pleasure too. I will go in now "Becky Said. " Let me walk you"Ethan offered. "No am okay" Becky said politely as she walks away.Ethan couldn't get his eyes off her as she walks away.

As Becky walked to her room and closed the door,a knock came in she opened the door to see Richard standing in front of the door .A smile lit up herself she can't help it showing him her happiness seen him once again. "Can I come in?" Richard asked coolly. "Sure you can come in,forgive my manners" Becky said Immediately as she let him through the door."Who was that man with you out there "Richard asked jealosly,but Becky didn't take notice of his voice. " He is someone of my work type, nothing more"Becky explained.

"You didn't wait for me again" He said.

"It wasn't my intention not to wait for you but I had to rush to my work place after my boss called me on phone" Becky explained to him.

"What for? I thought you were sacked or was it alcohol talking then" Richard asked.

"No,I was sacked but later asked to resume" Becky said

"Am so happy for you,congratulations to you".

" Thank you so much "

"Can I have your phone number" Richard pleaded with her. "Sure" Becky said while giving him her contact. There was moment of silence after that. Richard went closer to Becky, he placed his lips on her,Becky didn't hold back. She kissed him back. They kissed for some minutes,until Becky withdrew herself again but Richard brought her back again. Their kiss was so intense. Becky can't hold it anymore, she let out a slight moan. Richard loves what he heard he can't stop,he doesn't want to stop. He ran his hands all over her hair. They can feel each others breath close to themselves. They stood up to undress themselves, Becky undressed Richard immediately, she loves his muscular body,he got the six packs!
