With regards to setting: The first book mentions places I knew and loved but I didn’t specify the place in case I changed details to suit the story. In the second book, I started to name the places and for book three, I consciously showcased different areas of my beautiful country. This fifth book highlights Canberra, the Snowy Mountains, and Cairns/Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.
Using real places also allows me to use these settings as the visuals for the book trailers.
