I blinked. When I open my eyes again, his eyes are closed. Holy Seven! I must be tired. My heart wouldn’t stop beating fast, that I fear it might jump out of my chest. “Lady Elizabeth?” Master Ben said,
“Yes, my lord,” I mumble.
“Get rid of the fear, my lady.” he mumbles. And, I turned my head towards him. “For you have nothing to fear,”
I forgot that Master Ben has the ability to read someone else’s mind. I let out a small nod, and fake a smile. Hoping that he wouldn’t smell the lies beneath my smile.
