Unleashed the fire Elizabeth’s POV: En•chant•er - noun A person who uses spells and magic.   ___________________   Elizabeth's POV:   The smell of sweet and sour were the first things that occurred in my mind before I could my eyes. It was hard to open my eyes at first. I couldn't see anything, it was dark. My cheeks were pressed again the cold pavement of the floor. Every inch of my body hurts like hell. I tried to move my head a little. Every time I tried to move my body, there was always pain.   "Help!" I cried out hard. My voice came out more like a whisper than a scream. My voice was husky, due the dryness of my throat.   I heard the movement of the metals. When the bars of my cellar open with a loud creaking noise, thats when I started seeing the place where I'm staying. A dungeon. A man with red helmet on his head entered, a jag of water on his left hand and the other a small bottle with green fluid inside. He helped me to sit on the floor. He cringe when he noticed that every movement i made kills me.   "Take this. It will make you feel better." He said, sympathetically.   I took the water first. I chunk the water down to my throat without delaying. I breath, then drink again. When I was done drinking the water, I took the small bottle from him. It made a bitter taste in my mouth but I ignored it. It's one of the herbs my mother always made. It's a pain reliever herb.   "Thanks." I said to him lazily.   The royal guard just gave me a polite nod. "I'll fetch Lord Cedric." He said and disappear.   A few moments later two guards and a man with red hood entered my cell. The man with the red hood drop the hood that was concealing his face. He has a sharp pointed nose, and his eyes were dark as charcoal.   "Good evening Miss Elizabeth Prior, I am Lord Cedric. I am here to discuss some important matters to you, and I would really appreciate it if you will be honest to everything I'd ask of you." He said nonchalantly,   "How many days I have been in this dungeon, My lord?"   "Three days." Said the Lord Cedric.   I gasp.   "Three days? What happened? The last thing I remember I was in The Black Market and---" I said incredulously.   "Yes, you were here for 3 days. You've lost a lot of energy and blood, after you burned The Black Market to the ground. Something inside of you unleashed, and the King suspects that your power was triggered by the unfortunate assault of The Crown's Guards towards your brother. Or was it because of this--" he said, suspiciously pulling out a necklace from his pocket. My ruby necklace!   "My necklace, my mother gave it to me." I tried to get my necklace from him as I remember how my mother would not be so happy if she'd knew that I wasn't wearing the necklace she gave me.   "Ahh! Ahh! No, I don't think so." He distant the necklace from me. "What I think, this necklace was the thing that keeps you from embracing your power. It has been hiding your power since you were born. And, that was why The Crown couldn't find you when the Full Red Moon first shows up 17 years ago. At The Black Market, you couldn't control your power, am I right?" He asks, eyeing me cautiously. I nod, lowering my head.   "Because your power has been hiding for too long, and when the necklace was destroyed-- the very one thing that hides your power-- you couldn't control, it keeps coming out. By doing so, you could've killed yourself and burned the whole Kingdom down with you." "he said   I looked down at my hands, they were still a tad red. As if it has a rashes or sun burn.   "All this years of suffering behind the threats of invasion from the Cerian, you are the weapon that we need. The legend's foretold a girl with fire in her veins from nowhere will be the one who will save Nister from its enemies." I sensed relief from his words. As if I'm the girl who will save this kingdom from evil enemies.   "How can I possibly save this Kingdom, if I don't know how to control my own power?"   "Of course, you will train at the Academy." He said.   Two maid came in and help me to my feet.   "These are Lady Kenya and Lady Adel, they are your ladies in waiting. They will help you to your chamber and dress you in a presentable dress before you will meet the King." Lord Cedric said.   My ladies in waiting help me to go to my chamber. I forgot my pain as I step inside the chamber -- my chambers. The chamber was larger than my parents' house. The walls are covered in cream nude, the bed was placed in front of a huge window. My ladies helped me wash myself, scrubbing filth in every inch of my body. I've never had this kind of luxury in my entire life, and it's so foreign no matter how good it felt like.   They dressed me into a yellow gown with golden bids at the hem. And they braid my hair. When we got out of my chambers there were two royal guards on both side of my door. They didn't look at me, they were just there standing like a statue. My ladies ushered me to the throne room. The first thing that I see was the tall pointed throne of the King, it was covered in red and every edges were gold. The man who was on the throne was tall and bald man with a golden crown on its head. The King's hazel brown eyes watching me intently, observing every step I make. Beside the King was Queen Leticia, seated in a throne much like his but only a little smaller. Indicating whose power is superior. On the left side of the King were his sons, The Crown Prince Daemon and Prince Dylan. When I was close proximity to them, I sink into a low submissive curtsey.   "Rise." The King said, his voice was stern and impatient. Eyes studying me.   "A peasant girl, with a devil skills and an angel face. How interesting." The king remarks.   "Miss Prior, how long were you aware of your power?" The King asked. The King was watching me suspiciously,   "I never knew I have this power until at The Black Market, Your Majesty." I said in a low shaky voice. I could feel my heart beating so fast. "You see, magic is very limited to this Kingdom. Only few people who have magic, my two sons have a magic and a few from different lords' children. But, they are not as powerful as your magic." "17 years ago, a full red moon appeared in the sky. It wasn't hard to forget a Legendary foretold, not when you were raised to be a King. So, I knew right at that moment that the stories were true. I have every men in every villages to sear for a girl who has fire in her blood. I never found you, until when you burned The Black Market to the ground." He finished, then continued "The necklace your mother gave you suppress the ability that you bear. She tried to hide you from The Crown, Your duty to this Kingdom and your destiny! Crossing against The Crown is treason. Treason is punishable by death!" The king said, his voice full of range.   I remember the pain of the betrayal of my mother. All of these years, she knew what I can do. And yet, she hides it from me. I let out a tear, as if my whole existence was a lie. But, the thought of my mother's death hurts me so much. I couldn't bear it no matter how she hides the truth from me.   I sink into my knees, "Your majesty, Can I beg for my mother's life? I'll do whatever you wish me to do, I'll never run from my duty." I begged.   "Are you aware of the foretold of the Legends?" The King asks. I raise my head, so i can meet his eyes. I nod. "Cite it."   "A girl with fire in her veins will be born with full red moon above the blessed girl. A girl with fire in her veins will struck blazing fire onto the enemies of Nister and shall she wed the next King--" I stopped and drop my gaze onto the Crown Prince. Whose gaze met mine, with incredulous and disgust look. His grey eyes glares at me.   "And shall she wed the next King of Nister." The King continues and looks at Prince Daemon.   "No, Father. I will not marry that lowborn. You said, I have earned my right to choose whom I wished to marry." The Heir protest. He pushed his brown hair back and clenched his jaw out of hate.   "From this throne, I am your King. Not your Father!" The King growled.   "She is a lowborn, and it is an insult to every Lords who has a daughter. That will cause a civil war, Father." Prince Damon said. He clearly doesn't want to marry me.   "A civil war? The girl has already many supporters from each in every villages of this Kingdom! She might as well take the throne from the help of those people who supports her. And, she's lowborn no more if I made her Lady of Trentoi." The King wickedly smile at me, he stood up and walked towards me.   "You're right, Father. She's too beautiful to be a lowborn." I looked at the owner of the voice who spoke. The second son, Prince Dylan was looking at me. Studying me. "With the support of the people, and the title? No one will judge your decision, father." Prince Dylan said, proudly. Prince Damon glares at his brother, and looks at me intently. Studying me from head to toe. Then, he smirks.   "Very well, Father. For the good of Nister, I will marry her."
