Her head hardly lifts up from her laptop screen. Since the start of the Communication Research lecture Rain vowed to herself not to falter, not to gaze at her as she spoke to the class. Looking at Karey’s face would only result with her easily giving in.
Those hazel eyes had a way of melting at her restraints. Especially when they sparkled and focused solely on her. So she'd stay out of her line of sight.
