RAIN
I watch dawn break, the faded daylight stealing into the quiet room. I haven’t slept as much with thoughts furiously racing through my mind like cars in a rally. Karey’s sleepily still behind me. Her warmth breathe caressing the back of my neck, the only confirmation of her presence.
I let out a long sigh, the waist band of the jeans jabbing into my already sore skin. Sleeping with tight pants is an agonizing affair I wouldn’t want a repeat of. I stay still solely pondering if Karey shares the same sentiment. She’s also in her bra and fitted trousers. A remainder of where our passionate night had stretched out too.
