RAIN
I let out a long yawn and stretch out my limbs feeling the muscles crackle from the long night’s sleep. My eyes begin to clear and I settle for a while waking up slowly. I become aware of her presence. Karey’s hair tickles my face since she’s resting atop of me on the couch.
Another yawn escapes my lips as I sense the pull of sleep. Which is inevitable with Karey still snuggly tuck in my arms sleeping soundly. The little light filters into the room. Dawn has already broken and the sun is yet to fully cast its rays around.
