The eyes on me are overwhelming, I politely wave and smile at the people making it to the elevator without falling on my face from how hard they are looking at me. A trend that’s quickly getting on my nerve.
I press the top floor button, the elevator taking me to meet my brother for the tenth time today. I’d rejected William’s offer to work alongside him at his floor.
