I said the words and the next moment a loud sound was heard. He slapped me.
I looked up to stare into his eyes and felt satisfied. Yes, this is what I wanted to see. The guilt in his eyes to abandon his own child and at the same time the anger which is directed towards me.
“You are done here, right? Now leave and don’t ever show up near my house” I said.
He put his trembling hands in his pocket and turned to leave. After seeing his car going out of my sight, I entered into my room.
