Chapter 7

Sophia

My eyes widened and my breath got stuck in my throat when he said those words. I couldn’t even react when he pressed his lips against mine.

My heart thumped against my chest. I could not move from my place due to shock. His one hand was holding me on my waist keeping me in my place and another one had a firm grip on my nape.

He was kissing me like a hungry man who has been craving this for a long time. As if he was waiting for a very long time to do this.

You are being stupid Sophia. He won’t crave a kiss, it must be a daily thing for him but with different women.

When I came to my senses, I tried pushing him away but he pulled me more into himself making it difficult for me to move.

My whole body was covered in goosebumps. No, this is not because of pleasure or anything. It’s purely due to disgust.

He was devouring my mouth unaffected by my struggles. And now I have had enough.

I lifted my knee to kick him but he blocked it holding my knee with his hand. He left my mouth and I thought, finally something stopped him.

He had this victorious smirk on his lips when he said, “Did you think I forgot that my sweet little wife is a boxing champion?”

I pulled my knees out of his grip and pushed him away from me. His smirk widened when he touched his lips, wiping them seductively.

“You taste just as same as you used to……” he could not complete his sentence when I slapped him hard on his cheek.

His face whipped to the side due to impact of slap and when he looked up to stare into my eyes, a cold shiver ran down to my spine. He looks dangerous when he is angry.

But I didn’t move from my place showing him that his anger doesn’t affect me but I was trembling from inside.

“I hope it tasted just as good…..” I stopped talking when he took a threatening step towards me and I took few steps back.

He took a deep breath and held my hand but this time in a painfully tight grip. He started dragging me towards back of the building.

Soon we were in parking lot, but it is private parking, it must be for Knight family. It was completely deserted.

He didn’t stop here either and kept dragging me. We entered into an elevator and he pressed the rooftop button.

I didn’t stop my struggle. I even tried scratching his arms with my nails but it didn’t make him loose his grip on my arm.

I tried saying, “What the hell are you doing? Leave my…..” but one cold glare from him made me gulp my words. It’s really scary when he gets this angry.

I remembered the time when he used to get so angry in the past….

(Flashback back)

I was in the cafeteria of my college. I was standing in the line to buy something for me to eat. I usually eat food from this cafeteria.

I live here in the college hostel which is just at five minutes walking distance from college campus. I have a house, I have my family but I don’t go home frequently.

I still don’t have any friends. And after what happened 2 weeks ago with that gang of bullies, no one dares to come near me. Even those bullies haven’t approached me since then.

It’s not like they are scared of me. I think it’s the leader of the group, Daniel Knight. I heard he is the one who told them to stop bullying me.

But why would he do that?, this was the first question that came to my mind after I heard this rumour spreading in the entire campus.

But then I stopped thinking about it. Because honestly speaking, I don’t really care what people think about me.

I took my tray of food and turned around and my eyes locked with those green eyes. He was sitting on the table in the center of the cafeteria with his other four friends.

They were staring at my face with the look of…… I guess disgust or anger.... one of those. But the look Daniel had on his face was something different.

It was soft, it was……. I shook my head and made my way towards the table in the corner of the room. I enjoy my own company.

I also found out that Daniel was the one who stopped my suspension when I caused that commotion in the cafeteria and beat his friends.

I guess he did it because his friends were also at fault. If I got suspension, they might also get punished. But I am not sure, why he did it.

I started eating my lunch. I could feel their stares on me every now and then but I ignored it.

Suddenly everyone in the room became silent. I thought that group of bullies are on their mission to bully others.

But when I looked up they were sitting on their seats with nonchalant expressions on their faces. As if it’s a common thing.

I averted my gaze to the source of all the attention and saw three guys towering over a girl. That girl was staring at them in anger but was standing there stiff.

It felt like she wanted to say so many things but was helpless and was trying to gulp down her anger.

Her beautiful brown eyes were filled with tears, her shoulder length blonde hair were wet and water was dripping off from her hairs. Her small figure was shivering due to cold.

One of the boys spoke, “How are you feeling now. Don’t you wanna go and make a complaint against us to the principal, huh?”

“Now you must be regretting the moment when you slapped me. What did you think, that you will be able to get away so easily after slapping me” the boy who was standing in the center said holding her by her nape.

I looked down and decided to concentrate on my food. You should not interfere in other person’s matter Sophia. It’s not your business, I said to myself.

Because one part of mine was telling me to help her. I decided to ignore it.

Then the guy who spoke first said, “What did you say, why you slapped Jack?”

So his name is Jack. I have heard that he is one of the biggest playboy in our campus but of course next in line after Daniel.

The Jack guy who was holding her said, “She said I was molesting her. Do you think just because I touched you here and there few times means molestation?”

This got my attention and my blood started boiling in anger. I once again looked in their direction and he was caressing her back and butt with those filthy hands.

She was trying to stop him but he was enjoying it. This bastard, I balled my fist on the table.

He again spoke, “But you know what, after touching you for few times I realised that you are not all that special. Your body, It is not attractive enough to make a guy want more. You know what I mean right?”

Saying this rubbish he pushed her away and she stumbled on her feet. Why isn’t she saying anything? My angry mind asked.

“Now you don’t have anything to say. But again what can you say after getting warning from principal. You should have known how influential Jack’s father is. No one can go against Jack” the first guy said.

I knew it that there must be a reason why she is bearing everything without saying anything. Those are some rich a** fu**ers, who want to rule over everyone trying to show their power.

I want to go there and beat their a** to pulp but I can’t become a center of attention again and cause myself any trouble. I am fighting so hard to stop myself.

“I am not going to let you go this easily Miss Sarah. You know I like returning favours. And here is the one for you” Jack said taking slow steps towards her.

By the expression he has on his face, anyone can tell he is planning something unholy and bad.

That girl Sarah took few steps back looking around, I guess to find some help. But I don’t think anyone in here is going to come forward and help her.

Her roaming eyes stopped on me and she started running in my direction. She came closer and held my hand whispering, ,”Please help me”.

I want to, I really want to but I don’t know if I should do it or not, I said in my mind.

Those boys came near us and said, “Come here Sarah, she can not help you. We know she fights but I think she is smart enough to not meddle in others business”.

He said the last part staring at my face. Sarah’s hold loosened on my arm and she said in broken voice, “I am sorry. I was wrong. I won’t do anything like this ever again”.

She was forcing herself to say all this. These guys must have threatened her with something.

“I will forgive you, if you grant me a wish” Jack said.

“What….. is it?” she asked.

“Just entertain me tonight” he said and that was it, I lost my control.

The first guy took few steps in our direction and tried to hold her hand but I pushed her behind me and pushed him away.

He stumbled back and I heard people gasping in shock. Jack smirked and said, “You aren’t that smart, I guess”.

“No I am not, so take your friends and f**k off” I said folding my arms over my chest.

His smirk vanished and anger was visible on his face when he said, “Don’t you dare go against me. We don’t have anything to do with each other, so just stay away from my matters”.

“Or is it that you want to have something with me. To be honest, I don’t mind. You are sexy as hell. If you are going to replace her then I will accept it whole heartedly” he spoke again pointing his finger towards Sarah, smirking proudly.

I chuckled at his reaction and replied, “Oh I see, but you know what I don’t like entertaining a person, who isn’t man enough”.

His expressions changed one eighty degree and I knew I have touched a sensitive part. But what he was doing earlier with a innocent girl was proof that he isn’t a real man.

He strode towards me in anger and I was already ready for this moment. I pushed Sarah a little away from me and kicked him on his stomach. He lost his balance a little and I took the opportunity to punch him on the face and pushing him away.

I am glad that I am wearing jeans and T-shirts today instead of skirt or dress. Otherwise it would have been difficult to fight in those.

His friend came running to me and I kicked him on his balls. It’s the easiest way to knock someone down when you are fighting against someone who is stronger than you.

He landed on his knees holding his……. Leave it.

The third friend didn’t come forward to fight against me and I was glad.

When I turned around I felt a sting on my cheeks. Jack slapped me causing my lips to bleed.

He was about to slap me again when I picked the tray up from the table and hit his head with it. His head started bleeding but I didn’t stop and kicked him few times and last kick was on his balls.

He was on his knees when I said, “You think she is your private property that you can touch her here and there as you please”.

“And who are you to decide if she is attractive or not. Do you think you have everything to make a girl attracted to you. But honestly I don’t think you two are attractive enough.” I spat.

Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at us with widened eyes. I was looking like a crazy woman but I don’t care. There is one thing in this world that I can never tolerate and that is, Molestation.

“I am warning you guys for the first and the last time, but next time I won’t stop with just this much” saying this words I turned around to make my way towards Sarah who was standing in the corner with teary eyes.

I gave her a small smile but I saw fear on her face when she screamed, “Watch out……”

A loud thud was heard in the room. I turned around to find Daniel standing behind me. The guy I kicked earlier was lying on the floor struggling to get up.

I again looked at Daniel who was holding a broken chair in his hand. He took a step towards that guy and said, “You should fight face to face like a man and not attack from behind like a coward”. He threw the chair away.

“But you proved already that you are not men enough, like how Sophia said”. How does he know my name?

Jack who has stood up on his feet chuckled and said, “It’s first time that you are fighting for someone who is not your friend. I guess she is the next person you want to take to your bed”.

“And honestly speaking, I also loved her feistiness. She would be great and wild in the bed. I hope you share her with me……...” He could not complete his sentence and fell on the floor due to strong impact.

He was making me angry and was making me want to kill him, but I was not the one who punched him this time.

It was Daniel. He hovered over him and started punching his face. I was confused to see him like this.

Why is he doing this? Is it for me? No Sophia, it’s not like that, I told myself.

“Don’t you dare say anything bad or even think anything bad about her. I swear to god, even I don’t know what I will do to you” Daniel said holding his collars in a tight grip.

Jack chuckled and said, “She is sexy I know but you should not be greedy man. You should share good things with your friends”

“Shut. Your. Damn. Mouth.” each and every word was followed by the brutal punch.

He was looking dangerously scary. He punched Jack so ruthlessly that his whole face was bleeding badly.

Jack’s another friend, the third guy who was standing there silently tried to pull Daniel away from him but he was not ready to leave Jack.

When he was done with Jack he stood up leaving his body and held the third guy by his collar and said “Take your friend away, before I kill him”.

Daniel was looking like a crazy angry bull who is ready to kill anyone. I understood why people in this college say that you should never make him angry.

Now I have witnessed that he really becomes scary when he gets angry.

Jack’s friend helped him stand up on his feet and other guy as well got up from the floor.

I thought now everything was over until he said those words to infuriate Daniel even more.

He said, “Have you already tasted her? Is she good in bed”.

And Daniel once again strode towards him. Even his friends were not able to stop him. His hands were balled in tight fists.

He pushed two of his friends away and kicked Jack on his stomach. Jack fell down but didn’t stop laughing increasing Daniel’s anger.

Daniel picked up the chair from the nearby table and was about to hit his face with it when I screamed standing in front of him.

“Daniel…..”.
