Bumukas ang pinto ng kotse sa side ni Dave at bumaba siya. He extended his hand inside and Marian holds Dave's hands and they walk inside the building with the bodyguards. Sa sobrang kaba ni Marian naisipan niya mag cr para mag muni muni kung tama ba ang gagawin niya.
“Hon, mag cr lang ako sandali.”
“Okay, don’t take too long.”
Sumenyas si Dave sa dalawang bodyguards ni Marian na sundan siya.
Pumasok na sa loob ng cr si Marian at tinignan ang sarili sa salamin. "Tama ba to, paglabas ko dito di na ko makakaurong bulong niya sa sarili."
10 minutes later. Bigla may kumatok sa cr.
“Mam, pinapatawag na po kayo ni President.”
Lalo nanlamig si Marian at lumakas ang kalabog ng kanyang dibdib.
“Sandali lang lalabas na ko!
"There’s no turning back Marian. This is a moment you will become married to an illegible handsome bachelor." She inhales and exhales she was calm and relax. Paglabas ni Marian ay may dalawang lalaki na nakaabang sa labas ng pinto.
“Tara na po mam, dumating na po ung judge.”
Pumasok si Marian sa loob at nakita niya si Dave na nakipagkamay sa mga tao na nasa loob. Tumigil sila ng pag uusap ng makita siya ni Dave, Jake at Aaron.
“Mama! Habang tumatakbo papunta kay Marian si Aaron.
Marian was stunned and quickly compose herself and took Aaron’s hand and smile. Dahan dahan si Marian lumakad palapit kay Dave na hawak si Aaron sa kanyang kamay.
“Son, please go to uncle Jake for a while.” Aaron nodded.
“Shall we start now, Mr. Saavedra?
“Yes, PO. Let us start.”
The civil wedding starts. Nakatayo pareho si Dave at Marian. Hanggang balikat lang siya ni Dave, samantalang naka heels na siya ng 4 inches. Naramdaman na lang ni Marian na sumagot si Dave.
“I Do.” At sumagot din siya ng “I Do.” Nang nagtanong ang judge. Tapos sinuot na ni Dave ang singsing sa kanyang left ring finger at ganon din ang ginawa niya kay Dave. Then the judge said.
“I now announced you husband and wife.” “You may now kiss the bride.”
Marian heard clapping and cheering. Dave holds her waist and kissed her gently. A simple kiss sent a shiver down her spine. Dave smiled while looking at Marian. Marian also smiled back na pilit not to make it awkward.
The judge's secretary handed Dave the marriage certificate and he signs his name and Dave handed to Marian the certificate and she also signed her name.
Dave holds Marian's waist and slowly walks out of the building. The driver opens the door Marian went inside follows by Aaron and Dave.
The car drives them back into the hotel and they went straight into the private room along with the witness and the judge. May nakatayo na sa labas ng private room at bumati kay Dave.
“Congratulations! on your wedding President.”
“Thank you! Mr. De Jesus.”
“Mr. De Jesus was the Gen. Manager of our hotel.”
“Meet my wife. Marian Saavedra.”
Ngumiti si Marian ng kunti at inabot ang kamay ni Mr. De Jesus.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. De Jesus.”
“My pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Saavedra.”
Dave pulls a chair for Marian and Aaron sits in between Marian and Dave. Dumating na rin ang iba pang bisita na inimbita ni Dave.
“Bagay kayong dalawa. I am happy to both of you.” The judge praises them.
Then the waiters and waitresses went inside the room na may bitbit na mga pagkain at paborito ni Marian lahat. Napatingin si Marian kay Dave. Napatingin din siya at bumulong.
“What do you want to say?
“How did you know my favorite foods? Nagtanong si Marian na halos magkalapit na ang kanilang mga labi.
“You believe me if I say that I know all about you,” Dave says in a whisper.
Marian's eyes went wide. Then someone speaks.
Ehem!! “Congratulations! to Mr. and Mrs. Saavedra.”
“Cheers!! to the newlywed. Jake says.
“Let’s talk later, Dave whispered in Marian’s ear.” Marian nodded and continue to eat while putting food on Aaron's plate.
Nahuli ni Dave na nakatingin ang isang waiter kay Marian.
"You want to keep your job? If you want, stop staring at my wife.”
“Sorry, sir.” At bigla na lumabas ng kuwarto ang waiter.
“Dave, nakakahiya hayaan mo na. Hanggang tingin lang naman sila di nila ako mahahawakan.”
“You are mine, Marian. And I don’t like sharing what’s mine.” Sinabi ni Dave ng mahina.
The judge laughs. “You can’t blame them your wife is beautiful Dave.”
Bigla nabilaukan si Marian sa sinabi ni Dave. Binigay ni Dave ang baso ng grape juice kay Marian habang hinahagod ang kanyang likod.
“Are you okay?
“I’m fine, may naka alala lang siguro sa akin.”
After lunch, Dave went into his office in the same building inside the hotel. As they pass by some of the employees were staring at Dave. Dave was holding Marian's hands and Dave was carrying Aaron who was sleeping on his shoulder. Marian chuckled.
Dave looked at Marian and asks. Why are you laughing?
“You!
“Me! What about me?
“All the women are ogling at you. Some were into an accident earlier by looking at you”
“Oh, too bad I was already married and taken by the woman beside me.” Smirking.
Dumating sila sa opisina ni Dave at nadatnan nila na nagaantay si Daniel sa loob. Daniel was surprised when he saw Marian’s and Dave’s appearance dress both in all white. Ibang iba ng sila pa. Mas lalong gumanda at naging elegant and sophisticated tignan si Marian.
Marian tried to be as far away as Daniel. She doesn’t want to cause conflicts between the two brothers. Dave put Aaron on the bed inside the lounge of his office.
"Marian, you are with my brother Dave now and you don't want to talk to me?
"Hindi mo sinabi sa akin na kayo na pala ni Abby, at malapit na kayo ikasal?
“Of all the woman best friend ko pa!
Marian, you had an affair with my brother a long time ago. Did you?
“I did not send you to his room, you are the one who climbs to his bed.
Do you think so? Why did you put a drug on my drinks? What else do you want to say, Daniel?
Did you and my brother Dave were together when we are together?
“Who has a secret with others behind my back, you know better than I do Daniel.”
“Wala akong choice Marian, wala akong gusto kay Abigail. Mga magulang ko ang may gusto.”
"That is what the brother-in-law treats her sister-in-law"
“Marian is my future wife and your sister-in-law and don’t ever taunt her in front of me. Respect her or you will never get the company.”
“I’m sorry, Kuya.”
"Do you remember now that I am your brother?
Dave went near Marian and holds her waist, tuck her loose hair behind her ears, and kissed her on the lips in front of Daniel. Hindi na matagalan ni Daniel na panoorin ang dalawa kaya, “Sige kuya meron pa akong gagawin.”
Tumango lamang si Dave. Nagpaalam din si Jake na meron din gagawin. Naiwan si Marian at Dave sa loob ng opisina.
“Dave, now that we're married can you delete the videos?
Dave holds her chin and asks. What did you call me?
“Pag tayong dalawa lang call me honey at pag dito sa office with other people call me Dave or President.”
Marian nodded a yes para di na humaba pa.
“Yeah, just a moment.” Kunwari may na delete pero wala naman pala talaga videos at hindi alam ni Marian. Dave showed her his phone.
Satisfied? Bago makasagot si Marian may kumatok at pumasok si Jake.
“Dave about Daniel… “Jake looks at Marian briefly and coughs Ahem!
“Lalabas muna ako para makapag usap kayo.”
“No, you stay! Nagulat si Marian at siya ay napahinto. She looked at Dave and went back to sit on the sofa.
“Continue. What do you want to say, Jake?
“He was demoted and was working as a manager now and the VP position was vacant.”
Marian was stunned when he heard what Jake says. She smiles mysteriously. ”Hah! Buti nga sa iyo! Daniel.”
