Chapter 14 - The Nagging Wife

Andrea’s Pov

After the lunch with my dad I went back to café to take my belongings since my shift is already finished. When I arrived at the café I took some rest outside, my foot hurts because of my high heels. Then suddenly I saw a tall figure in my peripheral eye, I turn my face to look at it and I was shock to see an angry Isaac looking at me which got me confused why?.

“Hi.” I said to him with a smile but he did not acknowledge it, he just keeps on looking at me with an angry eye, what’s wrong with this man I thought to myself. To ease the tension I started talking with him. “Amm…what brings you here?...Stop looking at me like that!! Are you angry? just tell me.” I’m starting to get irritated with his silent treatment his giving me and I didn’t even do anything.

Isaac Pov

*Before lunch time.

I plan to have lunch with Andrea today, so I finished all my paper works and cancelled my lunch meeting with my dad to spend time with her. I left the office to go get my girl at her work place. When I arrive at the café I search for Andrea but I didn’t saw here so I ask her co-worker and he said that she went out for a lunch break. I tried calling but she is not picking her phone. I left her tons of text message and I’m still trying to call her but still no answer, I waited at the café for almost an hour and there are still no signs of Andrea. Mad, that she is not picking her phone I got up and went out of the café. I stop at my track when I noticed a girl sitting on bench with jeans in a high heels and it’s no other than Andrea. She didn’t notice me at first, then suddenly she looks at me and smiles with a confusion written all over her eyes. I am mad at her for not answering her phone, I got worried that there might something wrong happened to her and she was gone for an hour for a lunch break for waitress in a small cafe, my employees only get 20-30 minutes of lunch break. Still on my little world trying to figure out who she went lunch with looking so pretty like this got me wrap in my on world. She looks pissed now. So, I decided to start talking to her “Where have you’ve been? You’re not answering your phone, I’ve been sending to text messages and you did not even to bother to reply. I was planning to have lunch with my girlfriend but at the end I end up sitting in a café waiting for her to arrive! ” and she just stares at me.

At the back of mind something is telling me that I sounded like a nagging wife.

What is happening to me? This girl is making me do things I don’t usually do.
