2:00 AM

I am always loss of words every time I am finding a way to describe insomnia. It is always as if my well of wisdom had dried up. Every day I woke up at exactly 2:00 AM and could never go back to sleep again. Just like today. I am here again, savoring the cool night breeze, beneath a blanket of stars and a gleaming moon. My mother said my name “Neoma Luna” means moon maybe that is why I am always fond of the moon. No matter where I am it’s like I'm always searching for the moon up above. Tonight the moon is full. It is glowing and seems to be calling to me. I raised my hand attempting to reach it and as I continued walking, it followed me. It is so beautiful that I even feel like falling. “Neoma!!!!!” my mother yelled at me. For instance, I was distracted by the sadness and intensity of her voice before I closed my eyes. It hurts. “Ne- Neoma!” my mother whispered as she gasped for air while crying, it seemed like she ran down from a tall building. Later on, I heard strange voices walking towards me. A woman on my side spoke on her phone. “Call the ambulance,” she said while sobbing “Yes, another one of my schizophrenic patient.” I am confused but who cares, I’m one with the moon now.
