CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT Tentaculus shot toward me like a bullet. The only reason he didn’t skewer me was because I flew straight up into the air, narrowly avoiding his slashing blades as they slashed at the empty air where I’d been standing mere minutes ago. Looking down at Tentaculus, I fired my lasers at him, but Tentaculus deflected my lasers by spinning his four tentacles as fast as helicopter rotors. Then he launched into the air, his swords still spinning wildly, forcing me to boost off to the side to avoid getting cut into ribbons. Landing on the floor, I jumped forward immediately to avoid all six of his blades, which Tentaculus brought down onto the floor hard enough to embed them into the metal plating. But then Tentaculus ripped the blades out of the floor and stalked toward me,
